"Went for my birthday and got seated right away. We ordered drinks and guacamole and I ordered beef fajitas. They were good but needed lime juice or would have been to tasteless. The waiter was awesome and the man who brings drinks too. I liked the staff. But my friend ordered a tostada and it was covered in red enchilada sauce. She literally had to run to the bathroom due to the sauce. Tostadas should not use red sauce. It wasn't hot sauce but red enchilada sauce. Odd. I was pleased with my food and the cute little dessert they brought me for my birthday. Delicious flan. I was sad when I wanted to tip 15% and the electronic device had only 18% and two higher choices. Why don't they have 15% as a choice? Seems presumptuous and wring to assume I want to pay more when the bill was already over $50 for two plates and a small guacamole and two sodas? I pushed the custom tip button and paid 7$. I would have paid more had they not tried to force a customer to pay 18%. It's wrong. Reminded me if the Dodgers now wanting us to pay for a bag of peanuts using our credit cards on a handheld machine and also expecting 18% and up tips. Not me. I won't go to any more dodger games. Their hot dogs taste awful and getting tix and parking pass online was awful. Never could find the parking pass. Oh well I digress. Good food, great staff, but the tip forced down my throat not so good. And my poor friend was sick from the sauce."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time while I was in town from another state. The employee at the front who took my order had dark hair and fake nails. She seemed quite slow and was not very communicative; when I asked questions, she simply pointed to the menu board behind her. Since I was hungry, I ended up ordering whatever caught my eye. The food was good, but it was on the expensive side. There was a delay in receiving my order; I got one item first and then had to wait another 15 minutes for the rest, which meant some of us had to eat while others were still waiting. Although I would consider returning, I really hope I don't have to interact with that order taker again—it was frustrating to have to almost coax her into speaking and explaining things, as she mostly just punched in my order without much engagement."

"I’ve been eager to try this place’s food for over 25 years after hearing about it from weatherman Mark Kristi on KTLA morning news. When we couldn’t secure a reservation for Christmas dinner, we decided to order takeout from Corsica Deli. We had chicken Parmesan, stuffed shells, vegetarian lasagna with Alfredo sauce, and of course, we couldn’t resist the Nutella-stuffed cannolis. The meal was absolutely phenomenal on Christmas Day—better than anything we could have gotten from other restaurants. I can’t wait to return and sample more items, especially their sandwiches. We were a bit shocked by the prices, but after tasting the food, we found it was worth every penny. It’s clear that you pay for quality. The deli really reminds me of the traditional Italian delis I grew up with in New York. The drive from Glendale was absolutely worth it. Merry Christmas, everyone!"

"Here's the tea... There was a morning before work where I actually worked: and after work I wanted only a breakfast Burrito. I make delicious breakfast Burritos, but recently traders joe's has not been able to restock their hashbrowns #hashbrowncrisis. So I decided to try a local breakfast Burrito that I heard Everest is great and it's close to me, so I gave it a try. The place was busy ladies who enjoy breakfast together, a couple of father and son groups, various traders on the way to and from work as well as some families. The mixture of people fascated me and felt like a sign that this place offers many different flavors. I also took a lot of orders. Very promising. Then I saw something I didn't see before a pastrami breakfast Burrito. I never thought about this combination in my life, I couldn't expect it. Then I found out you can add bacon. A BACON PASTRAMI BREAKFAST BURRITO. That my Yelp community must try 5/5, I can't expect to get up in the morning and have another. By the way, breakfast Burritos is served all day. There's a reason this place is still with one in n out just a few blocks away. 5/5 Run. PASTRAMI. BREAKFAST. BURRITO. with extra sharp salsa"

"I missed my chance to visit this bakery as it was always closed. Maybe it was a sign. However, I finally had the opportunity to stop by today and unfortunately, I was disappointed. I tried three different pastries - a carrot cake cupcake, a chocolate coma cupcake, and the apple cake. When I got home and tried to eat them, they all tasted like they had been sitting in the refrigerator for days and were not fresh or edible. Additionally, I ordered a mango pineapple leaf that was bland. Overall, I was not satisfied with the quality of the food given the prices."
