"We absolutely loved this place! We tried their Mongo beans, dinuguan, Kwali Lechon, local breakfast plate with Portuguese sausage, pinakbet, pinapaitan, longonisa breakfast plate, sisig fries, and pork lumpia. Then, we had the banana lumpia with Ube ice cream. All of it was delicious! This is better Filipino food than in L.A. and Vegas. The owner, Ron D, was so friendly and gave us a small bowl to try the Bichol Express. That was also delicious. We loved the food so much that we plan to come back before we leave back to the mainland. My cousin heard about this place from an Instagram influencer saying this is the best Filipino food to eat on the island. My brother also heard from his coworker that this place was excellent as well. If you want authentic Filipino food, go to Shay's."

Very good Filipino Homestyle cooking. Small restaurant with quick service. Specialty is Adobo Pizza. Will be eating here again.

Thank goodness for takeout! The food is great and hot on delivery! My favorite go to cafe for Filipino cuisine! I tell all my friends. The lechon is fantastic!

This might be the best Filipino restaurant in Oahu. Their pinapaitan is the best I’ve ever had. The Kare-Kare is a must-try. The service is friendly and attentive. It’s a favorite among my friends.

I think I prefer this place over Elena's. The Lechon Kawali was absolutely delicious, and the adobo roasted rice was fantastic. The Sari Sari was also tasty, and the oxtail soup—wow, I feel so full! I'm planning to try the halo halo next. Visualizza piatti

Food was good. I had the Chicken Adobo fried rice. Service was nice, might be a little short staff, had to wait awhile. The sad part, they didn't have Banana ketchup, Mafran. What Filipino restaurant never heard of banana ketchup. And no regular sugar, only sugar substitutes. The atmosphere was nice, clean and bright.

Both the service and the food were outstanding. They offer a fantastic selection of Filipino cuisine at affordable prices. I had the lechon kawali with mini adobo fried rice, and the flavors were just as I remember from my childhood. There was more than enough food to take home leftovers. I even ordered takeout of the Ube pancakes!

I always enjoy dining on Filipino cuisine, and this has long been our favorite spot. Like many places, prices have increased, but the food remains delicious. When we arrived, it wasn't crowded, and our meals were served fairly quickly. The atmosphere is consistently pleasant. Overall, I'd rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. Amazing Filipino Cuisine! The food is hot, fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions at very reasonable prices. They even offer a discount for military members and seniors aged 55 and older. The Pork Adobo, Sari Sari, Bicol Express, Lechon Kawali, and Pork Adobo Omelet were all outstanding! The Pork and Banana Lumpia were delicious as well. Their Ube Pancakes, available for a limited time, were delightful. This has quickly become our favorite restaurant, and we will definitely be returning!

We frequent Shays weekly. Mellow place with good service and Onolicious variety of food. My partner usually has the breakfast or the Pork adobo with the bihon noodles. I, on the other hand will tend to jump around on the menu from Adobo fried rice with Lechon, Mongo beans with Paria, Bicol express...mmm you gotta try that twist of pork with coconut milk and a touch of chili flakes..makes you come back for more..then its all gone. But, Wait! We cant depart before we have the Ube Pancakes...those purple pancakes dripping in that purple sauce, which im guessing is coconut cream and condensed milk to end that luscious meal...Heaven!

"Ordered Sadie Special 27.00 meats burned like black, Korean style butterfish 28.00- outside no flavor inside fish 0- flavor, so happen red color sauce, way to sweet like corn syrup Korean seafood pancake 18.00 massive batter on both sides, very oily very little seafood inside which left half uneaten! Horicha tea should be served hot, came totally cold. Notified server, gave me puzzled look she blamed on last workers didn't plug outlet. I also told her about bad seafood pancake butterfish, she said she isn't the owner will notify. Next table their mandoo came uncooked they had to send back for crispness! There were only 2 tables with us Included, but 4 different takeout walk-in customer orders seem more important since my order came later than my husbands. Called owner he said he was the son of the owner they make food for local taste(sweet) not for Korean taste! Why then they pass off as Korean restaurant? Local people like good tasty food, not just sweet taste as per owner implied. No satisfaction from staff in the restaurant, Called to complain he said I was ranting when actually was complaining- next step, POST terrible review! Infact the owner stated staffing shortage new servers like we need to hear more excuses! See Joshua Wallin 6 month ago post, that's what Seafood or green onion pancake should look like, not mine! To bad I didn't take photo's as evidence!!!"
