"After reading the reviews I am hoping that my experience was one of a kind since everyone seems to love this places to much. Over all I would rate the food a solid 2/5. The cheese they add to the burger is so strong and overwhelming that it completely ruined the burger. My drink had a carbonated aspect to it and it was completely flat. My partner had one of their sandwiches and didn't even finish it. The meat was poor quality and the bread left something to be desired. The service was 5/5. Upon mentioning my drink being flat our server was happy to bring me another. I refused just because it had tasted to bad the way it was that I didn't want anything but water moving forward. I found the server to be kind, and very nice. Could have gotten better food at a cafe for half the price."

"We finally got the chance to check out Fins Bistro Issaquah last night. Let me tell you what...it was AMAZING!!! Not that I'm surprised though. Head chef Jeff Maxfield takes dining to a whole other level. It was hard to decide what to order. The entire stuff is wonderful and very attentive. We started with the crab cakes and truffle parm fries. Both were fantastic! Then for dinner we did the seared Ahi tuna and the salmon with crab. Oh man, all of the flavors went perfectly together. We finished with Jeff's special tiramisu... Speechless! Do yourself a favor and check them out!!! "We came here for a birthday dinner and it was one of more lasting surprises in recent memory. The restaurant entrance is pretty easy to miss on a side street off the building’s front, but that adds to the charm of what ends up feeling like a hidden gemin downtown Issaquah. The inside is small but intimate in a good way; I didn’t feel crowded or like we were intruding on othertables. The service was prompt and unobtrusive. And the food? I was astounded at the size of our cheese and meat platter—thiscould probably feed 4 instead of just us 2. The sacchetti I ordered was simply delicious, little packets bursting with meatyflavor. For dessert, I chose the brightly tart limoncello which I think I might need to get every single time now. Myhusband’s gelato came in a goblet worthy of Harry Potter and could also easily feed a table of 4. We will definitely return."

"We came on an Al Fresco nights last night is September 12) where they close the road to cars and seating outside is expanded. Read below for parking info) Our menu was quite extensive. Lots of vegetarian options including egg plant dishes. We ordered Tikka Masala with Paneer and chicken Tandoori. The smells were sublime! And taste was as well! The chef came by to chat. I told the waitress we may need to come here every night for dinner. There was a steady stream of families picking up to go orders and tables were always full. I think we found a neighborhood favorite! Not sure I should be telling people about it? There?s a big parking lot at La Z Boy. If that is empty then there is street parking closer up. We passed a ping pong game, cornhole, and a big connect 4. Tandoori takes a little longer to cook so we people watched. Quite fun!"

"I've been visiting this restaurant for several years, and I've noticed that reviews are quite polarized—people either love it or hate it. The food is simple, tasty, and definitely fits the definition of comfort food. What sets it apart is its authentic Chicago flavor. Those with a West Coast palate may not appreciate it as much because it caters to different tastes. However, those raised on the East Coast tend to love it, as it's hard to find this kind of food outside of Illinois. While it may not offer high-end options like sous vide ribeye sandwiches with artisanal aioli, it excels at being a genuine slice of Chicago outside its city limits. It’s a beloved institution where people craving a taste of home can find exactly what they’re looking for."
