This isn't your typical dining experience in Yelm. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food and drinks are excellent. My favorite dish is the cranberry chicken salad—delicious!

Excellent food, simple menu with a surprise special (that I almost always got), desert is from another (better) world and the staff are super friendly. Not the biggest place so plan your time accordingly in case they run out of room.

Great food, and usually a go-to. Today, really disappointed. Drove all the way from Olympia to Yelm for Sunday brunch, arrived, and, while the sign says open, we were told at the door that their kitchen had just run out of food... . I returned for the Mother's Day special and ordered the eggs Benedict. Unfortunately, the English muffin was extremely soggy, and the eggs had an overly sour taste. Additionally, all the seating was outdoors in direct sunlight, with no umbrellas available, making it quite uncomfortable for many patrons.

My family and I just tried to come eat there...your ad says no reservations and 1st come 1st serve. Many open tables for families to sit and was told there was a waitlist and a 45 minute wait. I asked about open tables and was told waiting for those parties to arrive I told the hostess is that not the same as a reservation. So the concept of no reservations is not true and misleading. Very disappointed by this practice.

We were in the Yelm area today and decided to stop by after seeing good reviews on Yelp and checking out the menu. The posted hours for Sundays are from 9 AM to 1 PM. However, when we walked in at noon, we were informed that the last seating is at noon. There was no indication of this policy on your door or your website. We moved to the area at the start of the year and are still working on trying out all the food places in the area. Restaurant is located in a business complex. It was not what I expected when i hear the word gastropub. It looks like it would be a cute bakery or ice cream shop. Staff was very friendly and we were able to get seated right away. We chose to sit at the bar top, but they also have booths and tables. Our food came out incredibly fast. I had the blackened shrimp salad and my husband got their special, which was the french dip sandwich, which we were told is very popular. This is probably my favorite restaurant in town for many reasons. I am puzzled by some reviews that have had bad service, because in my 8 years of living in Yelm, service has always been stellar. One reviewer commented on the owners wife and her sickly sweet smile. While I don 't know her name, this woman is as nice as she seems. I take my mother here who has dementia and speaks very slowly. Her and the other gentleman who waits tables is always so kind and patient. I can 't decide if I like breakfast or dinner here better, both are amazing! This review is based solely on the costumer service. This would have been a 2 star review if we were even able to eat there. We were greeted by I 'm told the owners wife. She maintained a sickly sweet smile during every exchange my party had with her. This place does not do reservations however a table that would have seated my party of 3 was already reserved. They just called and will be in shortly said the still smiling female. We stood around the front door for about 5 minutes until she approached us and offered to let us sit at the unoccupied bar, with the caveat that we will not be able to obtain a table if we sat at the bar for a drink.
