"Great that we have a local B&R. My reserved recommendation here is that the young staff while freindly and energetic they're inconsistent in interpreting how to make menu items. Some times you get your money's worth but other times you leave feeling youmade an unintentional donation. Case in point: one time they made a Capachini Blast with 2 scoops of icecream and it turned outwell balanced, but the next time (same week) a different person made the same drink with one scoop and more ice. It came acrossas mostly ice. So it can be good, but there is no guaranty. MH does have another B&R located in the ToGo's so I'll have to trythem to see if they are any better."

"My sister and I went here for lunch. Typically, when we go out to eat I convince her to pay. It seems only fair, she 's had more time to save and more experience earning. I also value money more than she does. She let 's other values like family and helping people, consume majority of her energy. Why should I lose something that I value more than her? She ended up saying that she wasn 't feeling too well so if anything I should pay for her. That didn 't make sense to me because I know how much she likes helping people. I thought it would make her feel better by helping her little baby brother by paying for my meal. She said that she didn 't need my help, what she needed was to feel heard. Essentially, I needed to say it must suck that you 're not feeling well . It 'd be better if that was said in a more caring way, but I think that was the gist of what she needed. Anyway, we ended up splitting lunch. I got the chow mein and she got the pho, we both enjoyed!"

"This place lost 3 stars just because of what came out of the kitchen...TWICE! The remaining 2 stars are for the people serving us, which were amazing. My experience there was great, other than the food. Kind of an important part of an eating establishment...no?! I ordered the Santa Fe Omelet if memory serves me right. It is supposed to have chorizo in the omelet. The first one I received had ZERO chorizo in it. Literally, the ingredient the dish is focused around. I got through about 1/3 and couldn 't find any. I opened it up, and none could be found. It 's not okay for $16 plate to not have one of the primary components. I told the server and she came back with, the chef forgot what was supposed to be in it . So she requested another one. The next one I got was still difficult to find the chorizo. It was there...but barely. Literally had to search through the omelet to even find pieces. It had no discernable flavor since there was barely any and completely overpowered by the fresh jalapeños. We live about an hour away and just doing a stop in town for another appointment. I can 't say that I would go out of my way to come here again. I 'm certain they have other good dishes, but their kitchen clearly needs more training and understanding that they are ultimately the purpose we walk through the doors. Great customer service from your servers will only get you so far. Fortunately ,the waitress could sense my displeasure from the dish and she took it off our bill. I was pleasant and patient about it and I think that went a long way for her. So thank you again to your servers for being observant and courteous."

"We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, thanks to the excellent service from manager Chris. It was our first visit, and we were delighted to be treated to complimentary cookies. Chris was enthusiastic and very helpful, recommending a variety of great menu items. The burgers prepared by Edgar on the grill, including the Ultimate BBQ, A-Wonderful, and Mushroom Swiss, were all incredibly tasty. The shakes were also fantastic—the strawberry one tasted incredibly fresh, while my mint chocolate chip shake was packed with chocolate chips. We can’t wait to return!"

"I came here last minute because I had previous plans with someone who flaked on me. When I arrived, the staff was very courteous and friendly. And help me with food recommendations since all I knew was, I wanted spaghetti and maybe some meatballs. I ended up with the seafood linguini and calamari for appetizers. The staff help me recommend a good glass of wine with my meal and everything and I do mean. Everything was fantastic!! The linguini sauce exploded with flavor including lemon, garlic and herbs as did the calamari. On top of that, the staff was great!!! They helped me pick out a wine and all took time to check in on me while I was eating and made sure I did not want for anything. I topped it all off with tiramisu and an espresso. Such a great experience identity will go there again. This place is like a hidden gem off of the main monterey street strip. Great for date night or just any occasion really."
