Smokehouse 41 - Piatti

The best thing here is the pulled pork and the coleslaw. The ribs were over cooked and had no taste. The brisket was okay. Mac and cheese was worse than Kraft from a box. Yuck.

This is hands down the best BBQ restaurant in California. I usually hesitate to try BBQ places because they often serve dry meat, but this one truly stands out. You won't be disappointed, and the sides are absolutely fantastic. The staff is friendly and makes you feel right at home. If you find yourself in Oakhurst, CA, you definitely need to check it out!

Solid BBQ in oakhurst! Stopped in for lunch. Get there right when they open to avoid a line. Friendly staff and straightforward menu. I had the rib Combo plate. It was more than enough of food for one possibly two people. I wish that I had picked the tri-tip over the brisket! First timer here, it was worth the wait in a weekend. There's always a line esp on a weekend. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Ambiance was ok, patio dining is also ok... facing the highway, and good view as well. Food was great , we had the rib plate and the pit master. Very sumptous and also big plates , shareable. We likewise order french fries and serving was huge... it was super good and tasty. When in Oakhurst , this is the place to go for dinner or lunch.

Right off the the highway you can see the smoke coming out of the grill and smoker. It's smells great and it turns out the food is excellent too. I got the Sasquatch sandwich and coleslaw. The Sandwich is cubed brisket which is super tender, Smokey and delicious. Possibly one of the better briskets I've ever had. When it comes with like a spicy aoliey. Next time I'll try other menu items. They're all pretty good. The coleslaw is average at best, but normally it'll go to a barbecue place for the sides. I think I'll try the beans next time!

There weren't a lot of choices to eat nearby, and this was across from the hotel, so we gave it a try. The ordering process was difficult. Everyone had to go through one person who took the order, chopped up the barbecue you ordered, weighed it, cut a bun, and put it on a bun, all while everyone in line was waiting. If it was something more than a sandwich, they made it in back and brought it out to your table. They did have a few good beers on tap and more in cans. Best BBQ near Yosemite! My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding near Bass Lake and chose Smokehouse 41 for our catering. We've enjoyed their food on previous trips to Yosemite and knew we had to share it with our guests. The catering process was incredibly smooth, and Diana was very helpful and friendly. We ordered the 41 feasts along with various side dishes that included dinner rolls and pickles. There was more than enough food for everyone, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was! Many of them even wanted to take leftovers home. We definitely plan to return to Smokehouse 41 whenever we're in the area!

We were staying at the Hampton Inn right across the street from Smokehouse 41 and had high hopes for some delicious smoked meats after seeing all the photos on Yelp. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be somewhat average. The tri-tip was enjoyable, but the brisket was quite tough—perhaps it was just an off day for that dish. On the bright side, the baked beans were very satisfying. I usually find them too sweet, but these were well-prepared and had just the right amount of sweetness. The broccoli salad is worth the extra charge, as it paired nicely with the rich meats. Overall, I would recommend giving Smokehouse 41 a try if you're in the area.

Average BBQ for touristy prices. Protein is certainly on every hungry hiker's mind after a day in Yosemite, and we made a point to come here for dinner based on previous reviews. Look for the two story sky blue lodge style building. Fair number of parking spaces, shared with some other businesses in the plaza. The place is smaller than the building suggests, with the counter and dining space taking up maybe half of the building's first floor. The door puts you directly in front of the order counter and kitchen, and staff were peppy and friendly.
