"I'm torn between and stars on this review. First let me start by off by saying that that the food was fabulous. No complaints AT ALL on our meals. My wife's scallops were probably the best I've ever had (I snuck one off her plate). My shrimp and grits were very good as well. My issue was the service. Everyone was very nice and polite, but we saw our server zero times after she brought the appetizer. No other servers walking by bothered to ask to refill our obviously empty water glasses or even made eye contact. I finally flagged down someone to ask for more water. I would have had another beer, but by this time we had both finished our meals and were ready to leave. The lady who brought the water was also the manager so we very politely told her what I've just laid out in this review. She had a lot of excuses (our server was new, the hostess sat her with a large table after us .. but my wife and I were both servers years ago and we recognize a poorly run restaurant when we see one. If the service was half as good as the food this would be a star post and I would be singing their virtues. It's sad that such poor service/management tainted what otherwise would have been an excellent meal"

"Parking: The parking lot is paved and lined. However, it is crowded when the restaurant is open and narrow with the amount of cars on the lot. Wheelchair accessibility: The paved lot is fairly flat and there are no stairs into the restaurant. "The restaurant is now under new ownership since May 2021 and is called Ixtapa. We enjoyed it before, but we absolutely love it now. I ordered the chicken fajita nachos and my husband tried two different types of tacos, both were delicious. We visit the lake 4 or 5 times a year and Ixtapa will definitely be one of our favorite spots from now on!"

"I stopped by for a chai latte while passing through town. The young lady at the counter was very polite and friendly. The latte was quite good. I need to remember to ask for drinks with a little extra space at the top because they come out too hot to drink immediately. Plus, if you hit a bump while leaving the shop, it can spill out of the sipping hole."

"We made a reservation for 7 people to celebrate our daughter's graduation with a nice dinner. Initially, we were seated in the bar area but requested to be moved to a quieter table. The service was good, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant with views of the golf course. Unfortunately, after relocating to a quieter dining room, a group of 12 drunk golfers was seated right across from us within 10 minutes. Their noise level was extremely loud and despite asking the staff twice to address the issue, nothing was done. This ruined our dining experience and made it impossible to enjoy a nice meal with our family. We will not be returning to this restaurant."
