"here! Eclectic, welcoming, comfortable, private, warm and cozy. wine selection is beautiful and a good choice of red to champagne. absolutely one must! homemade and only delicious. the choice of meat and cheese is perfected and so beautifully mixed. freddie and his coworkers are incredibly knowledgeable and want to suggest help. let us discuss dessert .at one weeping? oh yes, it is a must! what a true gem (yes a used one, but the definition of sofias) we stumbled on this and forever grateful to add to our stop when we visit again. pizza was made home and the aromen were just from the chart, especially the spicy honey! we were so greeted by local and regular clients from the neighboring and the staff that we would see to visit this beautiful painting site again and again?"

Amazing wine bar! Been once a few years back and had an amazing charcuterie board with a bittle of wine. Then a few weeks, came and discovered the delicious Lambrusco and how amazing their flatbread pizza's are. Would definitely be back! The manager there also makes a mean espresso martini!

My favorite neighborhood place. I love stopping here for a last-minute weeknight dinner, a planned date night, a large group event, dinner with friends, and everything in between. The food and wine are phenomenal (my favorite is the Margherita pizza and gnocchi), but it’s the service that makes it everything. Luca, Freddy and Lucky are so so welcoming and warm. Everyone is wonderful there. Visualizza piatti

Just went to the Sofia Wine Bar with friends from work. What a beautiful place. It is classy, sophisticated and the ambience is first class. We had a great time. The lounging area is ample, with contemporary decoration. The appetizers were tasty with good portions. The wine and beer selection is varied. Great selection. And tonight, DJ CBass played amazing music. I highly recommend this wine bar!

Relaxed, convivial atmosphere in Midtown East in an area saturated with drinking establishments. Wine list by the glass is wide-ranging and well-chosen, not really focused on Italian varietals but certainly has them in abundance. Reasonable prices all-told, with glass prices in the low teens and up. The bartenders are well-versed in their wines, and happy to talk about the various regions represented. There's a large tented outdoor space behind the main room, which lends itself to larger groups. Though we haven't partaken, Sofia is well-known as an excellent restaurant to boot, and the to-go offerings passing by us at the bar smelled fantastic for what it's worth.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
