"it was our first time to eat here. we ordered the conquest for our family in alexandria. we had koks, chips and salsa while we waited. the chips are light and crispy and the pico de gallo was very good. we were very happy with the ribeye. it was huge and perfectly cooked. so tender. the rice, the fried beans and the coal beans were all very good. the charro bohnen had more liquid than drilling in the $6 container, but had excellent spicy, smokey taste. they serve home made mais tortillas. very light and delicate. we also ordered plates of crispy and soft bark tacos. it was great to eat fresh mex foods that were not excessively salted. the tacos had very little groundbeef in them. that is the reason for the 4 stars. but the taste of everything was 5 stars."

"use to eat here was very good ...moved away .came back tonight it was so bad from the tea to salad to main course was the worst ever . I will never be back . I would not recommend this place ever and we still tore up a $100.00. I use t9 go there at least 2 times a month every month... the owner was standing right there NEVER at any point offered to come by our table extend an apology... Does he have it so good that he can't say sorry and extend an offer to come back he'll no he didn't. So disappointed. .and just think I've spent thousands of dollars there ...took new people there all the time ...I failed to mention the man with me was a local small town mayor!!! I know he or his staff will never patronize his establishment in the future. I do hope the owner reads and does take action on this matter"

"We came here last week and this is a place that ordinary would be on your radar because of its location. But after you come , it will be in your rotation. It's in a beautiful historic building in downtown Oxford, AL. The decor and atmosphere is truly amazing. Reservations are a must but strangely, we came on a night that we had the entire upstairs to ourselves!!!! The restaurant is filled with beautiful art and the most comfortable chairs. We started off with a Caesar salad and the fried green tomato salad. Oh I forgot to say that everything on any of your plates will be homemade. The salads were fresh and filled with so many different flavors that I can't describe. The entrees were ahi tuna and salmon. The tuna came with a calamari salad and the bomb fried rice. The salmon had a Yukon and sweet potato dish that I wish I would have had an extra side of. Both dishes were perfect and you can tell they take pride in putting out a great product. Last but definitely not least was the bread pudding. I thank God for the lady that made this because it was the best that I've ever had in a restaurant anywhere!!!!! Please make the drive and let your pallets be filled with joy."

"On Monday evening at 7:00 a.m. for dinner while on a trip with my wife. It's in a beautiful mall. Small dining room, but very nice atmosphere. Not packed, but most places were taken. That was a good sign. We sat right away, and in less than a minute our beverage orders were taken. One minute or two later they were on the table. Pretty solid margaritas, and they have a thin margarita (which my wife was looking for). A few minutes later, someone else came to the table and asked if we like appetizers. We got cheese and hot salsa that came out immediately. The mild salsa that comes with the chips is delicious. Hot salsa is... somehow hot (I know many people who probably ask if it is actually hot, but not a whole lot of taste. Cheese dip was respectable and par for the course, although no stand out. Then a third person came by to take our order. not least complain; I was simply not in a place where different servers work the same table, and it was just a little unusual. They were all kind and prompt. I have the chicken taquito appetizer because I wasn't very hungry. Came with a ton of shredded cheese, pico and cheese dip. The blob of guacamole (see photo that I took after I started eating were oops an extra $2.50. Too expensive for adding, but no problem enough to change my review. Corn tortillas were perfectly cooked; large crispy, and chicken was juicy and tasteful. My wife got a beef enchilada and a cheese enchilada and said they were both great. The upshot is based on our first experience here, I would simply recommend Mexico Lindo Grill for a casual culinary experience."

"Our first trip here and our last. We had reservations with no problems there, but everything else was awful. We were seated in a rush(as if we were an imposition) we were told they were rushing people and thats why the menu was very limited, (due to concert next door don't know how something next door concerns them anyway)we were told no appetizers were available. Selecting our items from the limited menu was rushed waitress brought our drinks then asked for our choice immediately. My husband had to ask to get our drinks refilled. Then the check was placed on the table, no how was your meal, do you want a dessert. If you are gonna charge posh prices I expect good service. We were trying to celebrate my birthday. So this ruined it. I don't like giving a bad review because I like to support small businesses, but this one is deserved.
