"When I checked the bathrooms, I noticed there were no changing tables. I spotted a bench near the restroom area and asked the woman who took our order if I could use it to change my baby's diaper since we couldn’t walk back to the car in the snow. To my surprise, she flatly refused, stating that people sit there and that her Halloween decorations were on it, all with evident annoyance in her voice. The decorations were carelessly tossed aside, and there was more than enough space on the bench to safely change my baby. When I pointed out that it was just a bench without a changing table available, she begrudgingly mentioned she could move the decorations. We declined her offer, as it was clear she was uninterested in accommodating us. Later, I called the restaurant to voice my concerns about the situation, hoping to address it calmly without causing a scene. Unfortunately, the girl on the phone merely said, "I'm sorry you feel that way," showing no concern for the issue or for my experience, instead simply defending her coworker. The lack of a changing table wouldn’t have been as big of a deal if there had been some willingness to accommodate us. I would not recommend this place to parents; it doesn’t feel family-friendly and gives off an unwelcoming vibe."

Had the biscuits gravy it was fantastic. They also have freash baked goodies that are amazing. The peanut butter cookies, carrots cake, and the rocky road bars are a definite must.

This was a fantastic stop on our trip from Tahoe! It's a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth it. I enjoyed a delicious soup, and they were very accommodating with our toddler.

The homemade food here is absolutely delicious. The portions are generous and everything is perfectly prepared. The biscuits and gravy on Sundays are otherworldly! Margo, you are an amazing creator of delicious baked goods!

Coffee, cake, and delicious food – this place offers the perfect combination of delightful treats and a charming small business atmosphere. We were fortunate to discover it on Taco Tuesday! On Sundays, their special is biscuits and gravy, but be sure to arrive early as they tend to sell out quickly. Make sure to swing by if you're passing through Pollack Pines on Highway 50!
