"Have to say the brisket/onion cheese baguette sandwich was terrible! Meat was tough, dry stringy. Lamb burger was pretty overdone also without good flavor. Rachel was very gracious. And red Reuben was delicious!"

Reserving a table is required. This is a very popular place. Wonderful service and the potato leek soup is sinfully good! The chicken and dumplings dish was outstanding!!

We had an early dinner on New Year's Eve. The food was great, and the service was equally impressive. It was quite loud, but we were still able to have conversations with others at our table.

"Good is consistently good. That is not what my review is about. We've been eating here for over 7 years. When pandemic hit it turned into a take out regular. When help was hard to find the service was very slow. One night we saw several parties walk out before their dinner was served and we felt bad for the workers who were trying their hardest. Went at 5:30 this past Sunday. We sat until 7:30 waiting for food and finally said let's take it home. It looked like there were plenty of workers. Our server was excellent. That table could have turned over 3 times but instead they left patrons sitting for hours while the lines of take out patrons continued throughout the night. Either you're a dine in or a take out, especially on the week ends. The owner had to decide where his bread and butter comes from because in a kitchen that small it should be only one. I don't think we'll be returning anytime soon. There's other restaurants with just as good food and better service. Again our waiter was terrific. He was trying his best."

"However, we still plan to visit the bar for a quick bite and a drink (unless it's the food). Make sure to catch Patrick O'Brien when he's working; if he doesn't make you smile or laugh, then there's definitely something wrong! There have been times when I've been chatting with people next to me and remarked that I sometimes come in, not just for a drink or a quick snack, but for the entertainment provided by Mr. O'Brien! If he ever leaves that establishment, I wouldn't have a reason to come back. Heads up: Patrick usually wraps up his shift around 5:00, but if he’s in the middle of a conversation, he might stay a bit longer. Just be warned: once he leaves and the two women come behind the bar, it’s time to head out! What Patrick can accomplish on his own at a busy bar, they simply can't replicate together. So, people, let's be honest—you all know what's up. Oh, and did I mention that Patrick O'Brien is also very intelligent? He excels at what he does, but I think he may have missed his true calling along the way. He's truly the best in the business!"

"This was a quick random choice and we are so glad we picked it! The food was amazing. Portions were big and perfect for the price. Tons of choices to pick from so that was a little hard but a good thing! Service was super friendly and fast. They had a great little high chair that attached right to the table so my 1 year old could sit right in the booth with us. We plan to visit again when we are in the area!"
