"The food was delightful. The baked dishes stood out, while the fried options were less impressive. The service was a bit slower than I would have liked; they seemed busy, and we ended up waiting for about two hours. There were eight of us at the table. I’m not really complaining since the food was great and I was enjoying the company of friends and family. However, even at other tables, people were asking if we had to wait long for our food and desserts, which hadn’t arrived any sooner."

You absolutely have to try this place! We traveled an hour for lunch in Stans, and it was worth it. The burgers and tenderloins are top-notch, and you can't leave without trying the cheese balls—they're a must. This is a fantastic restaurant! It was quite busy when I visited, but the food was excellent. The portion sizes are generous and definitely worth the cost, making the drive to Osage, IA, worthwhile.
