"I drive by here often and even though it looks disgusting from the outside, i thought I’d give it a chance. Thank the Lord it wasn’t Russian roulette because I would not be writing this review.The food was slower than molasses coming out,after waiting for over 30 minutes to get my food. I decided I might as well try it. To say it wasn’t good was understatement. My whole plate looked brown and burnt. My biscuit was soggy like it was stored in water. The food tasted greasy and I spent most of my afternoon in the bathroom. I will be returning back to Mel’s diner now that it’s back open the food was much better food and cheaper."

No frills just great food. The staff is so friendly. Eat here at least once a week. Try their home made gooey butter cake.

Food was great !! Just needed a little bit more seasoning with certain things that just how I like my food but other than that the food was pretty great. I love their pancakes.

I wanted to place my food order with the waitress, but she told me she was only taking drink orders. I found her to be quite rude. After waiting an additional eight minutes without receiving our drinks, we decided to get up and leave. Was in town for work, had to get up early and this place seemed like the best choice instead of Ihop and Denny’s..I was pleasantly surprised with my breakfast. I went in and it had a calm and homey feel which was great. The server was very nice and attentive. Food came out quick, I ordered eggs, sausage, hash browns, and a biscuit everything was great and reasonably priced. This place exceeded my expectations!

Great privately owned and operated diner/restaurant in Sanford, FL. Three visits in one week says it all, delicious food, friendly and fast service, and, believe it or not, very fair prices. These days, that fair price is really rare and hard to find. Breakfast is served all day, lunch is great also. This is my new Favorite Restaurant! For a guy who loves food, that says a lot. I highly recommend trying The Market Restaurant if in the area. You will not be disappointed.
