"When you think of Italian cuisine, you typically imagine generous portions. Coming from an Italian family, I'm used to being fed until I couldn't eat another bite. Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't deliver that experience. Their success seems to stem from the fact that their main competitor is Olive Garden. If you want to feel even somewhat satisfied, you'll likely need to order two entrées; otherwise, it's not worth it. The prices are high for the amount of food you receive. I wouldn't recommend the appetizer combo, as they only provide you with three of each item and no sauce. I'll let my pictures do the talking—everything tasted mediocre and was overpriced."

Great family story! We had sicilian pepperoni with jalapeno peppers and it was huge... 16 pieces. Pizza and garlic bread were fantastic, service was fast and friendly.

My wife and I started our meal with the Garlic Knots. She chose a cheese pizza, which was very tasty, while I went with a calzone filled with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and ricotta cheese.

I've been eating at this restaurant for several years, and I've never encountered a dish that wasn't delicious! The pizza and calzones are consistently outstanding, along with everything else on the menu. Visualizza piatti

I have loved Stefano's pizza since they opened in Carthage in 1985. Even though I no longer live there, I always make it a point to stop by and enjoy their fantastic food and the cherished memories it brings me.

I had a fantastic experience at Stefano's! The pizza was delicious and made quickly to order. The chicken bacon ranch pizza is outstanding! Our server, Megan, was incredibly kind and attentive. I highly recommend dining here if you're looking for great New York pizza!

Always happy to eat here. Great portions. Good ingredients. Pizza reminds me of NYC. I'll be in Carthage a few days a month. That's the only place I feel like eating a house that's boiled. All you see in the picture was $20?. Remains for a whole meal and to boot a drink. Thank you. Emma Visualizza piatti

Last night, we hosted a small wedding reception for our daughter and her new husband. The food was incredible! The staff was fantastic, and the venue was just perfect! Our waitress was exceptional—she was attentive and had a wonderful sense of humor. We highly recommend this place! Thank you for making the evening so special. Sincerely, the Tuttles.

We often order from this restaurant, but our last two experiences were disappointing. The calzones were incorrect both times. The first time, I didn’t say anything, but the second time I called to address the issue. They made a big fuss, insisting that I return the incorrect calzone as proof. I complied and brought it back, only for them to inspect it in front of us and say there was only a small amount of bacon in some areas. That misses the point entirely! The customer service was terrible.

"The layout of the place was unusual; it felt more like a house with a pizzeria attached rather than a traditional restaurant. There’s no parking lot—just what looks like a personal driveway. We parked by the curb, figuring it would just be a quick pick-up. There was no online presence or pictures of the menu, so we opted for a simple large pepperoni pizza, not wanting to complicate things. When we arrived after 5:00, we learned they have a specific ordering protocol. They mentioned they don’t start cooking until around 5:45 and usually take all night’s orders upfront before beginning. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly, and since we were only ordering pizza, they made an exception and prepped it for us right away. We considered adding wings but were told it would significantly delay our order, so we decided to stick with just the pizza. With our dog in tow, we took a walk around the block while we waited. By the time we returned to the car, the pizza was waiting in the passenger seat, so we didn’t have to go back inside. Unfortunately, the pizza itself was disappointing. It gave off a homemade, low-effort vibe—something you'd whip up quickly after work using dough and sauce from Aldi. It lacked any special qualities and didn’t have much flavor. I suspect that many of the rave reviews come from people who grew up enjoying it, which certainly shapes one’s perspective; I feel the same about my hometown pizzeria. Usually, I like to try a place a couple of times before leaving a review, but I don't think I'll be returning to this one. There’s nothing particularly wrong with it, and I always encourage trying new places to find what suits you best. However, this pizzeria doesn’t offer anything that other places don’t do better, especially when it comes to timing and online ordering options."
