Good food overall nothing to complain about. Pricing fairly accurate for the size portion size you get. Staff fairly friendly.

Steven's all-around was excellent! The entire staff was very attentive, drink and food service was promt as well as acknowledgment and respect paid for the newly graduated Naval academy cadets! Thank you for making our trip away from home amazing

Food was pretty tasty. Felt like the bathrooms and dining area could be cleaner. Went for a private event in a private room in the back and it was 90 degrees outside, they did not have the air condition on inside our room and everybody was sweating.

I can 't image a better combo of a Cheer 's neighborhood feel with a top-notch steakhouse! The friendly atmosphere, great entrees at affordable price points, excellent service, and a proprietor that ensures a delightful experience is not often found. We went to Stevens a few weeks ago for a special night out (husband's bday and it was excellent. I had the pot roast, which was absolutely fabulous (and huge . A bit salty, but can't get away from that sometimes. Wait staff was super attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Husband had a steak, which he loved. Sides are always yummy. They gave us a little dessert with a candle in it chocolate cake and oh my goodness. Too good. We went while it was still daylight out and the place can feel a little dark. Took my wife here on her birthday this past March for our very first dining experience and was a pleasant first time around. My folks have been nagging me to take my wife here for the last couple of years being I seem to be taking her everywhere but here which is less than a 15 minute drive from our house in Beach Park. Good location and quiet compared to the busy Gurnee business district on Grand Ave. Food overall is good here with some familiar steak options and sides. Joey is THE BEST. When a restaurant is on the higher end of the price scale, they better deliver on all counts. Well, this establishment went above and beyond. We started off with the calamari. Yum! My husband ordered the 14 oz NY strip with mashed sweet potatoes and was extremely content with the choice. I had one of their salads and their Portobello mushroom quesadilla. Sooo good that I can't wait to go back. I wanted to try the crab brie soup but the waiter was very honest and said it was phenomenal but something to be shared. Next time!
