This was pretty good! I had a lobster roll which is always a bit of a shot in the dark because you know you’re paying a high price but is it going to be worth it? This place delivered! Oh and the fries were tasty too!

Yummm oysters, lobsters, and clams OH MY. I used to come here a lot more often about 3 years ago. Pre covid. Not going to lie thought it wouldn’t be the same after pandemic, but I was mistaken. My fiancé and I LOVE coming here. Best oysters in Hoboken hands down, and really great cocktails, but above all else the service is always great. Super friendly staff. The owner even introduced himself to us once and gave us his personal recommendations on the oyster options that day. Made us feel welcome and connected to the place. Highly recommend this spot!

The lobster mac and cheese was fantastic, and the calamari was so good that we ended up ordering another round. The oysters were fresh and served on ice, plus they had a half-off special for the day. The clam chowder soup, with its bits of bacon, was a delightful touch. The Moscow mule I ordered was perfect. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely both inside and outside. I highly recommend sitting outside.

The food was flavorful, well-cooked, and the portion sizes were just right. However, I wasn't particularly impressed with the chocolate cake slice; I found it could use a bit more richness in flavor. The calamari also left something to be desired; it was too small and crumbly, and the dipping sauce was just average. Went to get a table for 3 and waited like 5 min while they checked tables, then another group of 4 showed up behind us (they didn’t have a reservation either). We were turned away even though we arrived first because “the group of 4 is bigger so we prioritize them” So to be clear lol even though neither of our groups had reservations and we were first in line we were turned away because they’d “potentially make more money off of a bigger group than you”. This restaurant is fantastic! The seafood is simply delicious. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and the cozy, dimly lit atmosphere is ideal for couples. The bar area is also great for hanging out with friends. We enjoyed the buttery lobster roll, spicy garlic shrimp, Old Bay fries, and fried calamari – everything was so good! For drinks, we tried "Grandpa's Old Cough Medicine" and J Vineyard Chardonnay, which were perfect complements to our seafood dishes. I loved it and will definitely return! However, I think they should consider offering something other than Ruffles to accompany the lobster roll.
