"We went here with such high hopes after reading reviews and now I'm seriously questioning people's taste. The lump crab cake was so bad it came out looking like a pancake and tasted like relish. The sauce for the tarragon pasta was watery, no flavor, the pasta was undercooked. The swordford was so gross we couldn't even eat it, overcooked mooshy and the marsala sauce was just disturbing. The scallops werent seared. The rolls were over cooked. The rice was mooshy and somehow still crunchy. The entire meal was truly gross and for $130. No thanks."

We had a lovely dine-in lunch with friends today. Everything was so nice from the minute we entered the Stomping Grounds until we left with full bellies and happy hearts. You are a one-of-a-kind gem. This is my second time at this establishment and it was even better than my first. The service was fantastic. The food was amazing, generous portions and the prices are very reasonable. Very thought out drink menu with catchy names and phrases describing each drink. Our party of 4 enjoyed all of their drinks. "Mahoney 's is a great place in this area for drinks and a bite to eat. The atmosphere is sort of like an elevated pub feel, with dim lighting and lots of hanging lights. We also loved the exposed brick. We came for a double date night and found that it was the perfect place for that. It wasn 't too busy, but just loud enough to allow us to laugh and chat without feeling like we would bug anyone. Service was good. The younger guy who served us was efficient and friendly. We got quite a few cocktails, all of which were strong but good. For an appetizer, we tried the Irish Nachos which weren 't great. They call them nachos but the potatoes were large, soft chunks similar to home fries, which left the entire dish far too soft. If potato chips had been used, it would have been at least a bit like a nacho, but these missed the mark. No crunch like you expect when you order any variation of a nacho dish. We also got a cup of the clam chowder, which was delicious. For entrees, we tried the Chicken Caesar Salad and the steak tips with truffle fries. The salad was perfect. Chicken was cooked nicely, the dressing was flavorful. Overall, just a really good Caesar salad. The steak tips weren 't as great. Ordered medium rare.. they came out well done. Overall, we would come back for the atmosphere but food and drinks were average."

"Local here, if you know Pocasset, you know there aren't a lot of take out options close by. I've ordered twice from Stir Crazy and loved everything the pork short ribs atop a spring salad with fruit is DIVINE. More recently I tried their sushi, the Shogun Roll, and that was also delicious. Consistency is really important to me and so far, they've given me top notch food again and again. Service: Take out"

"we arrived in bourne, massachusetts in the early evening, checked us into our motel and were led to dinner on the lobster trap. we had dedicated our first cape cod trip to a conscious overload of seafood and we were delighted with the offered. my wife had a (admissible) expensive lobster roll. I had whispers, a filled quahog and a bucket of whistle. I personally wasn't thrilled with the quahog. Not that it was bad, just not what I expected. other than that, everything else was great and as usual our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. the next day we met lost friends who live near. I said to my wife, if they suggest the most praised trap, to act as if we were never there. but you can't get enough. I lost 1-1/2 lbs on the trip."

"This place is excellent... I mean, I've never been to a better Café EVER! The staff is lovely. The menu is excellent and includes gluten-free and milk-free products. Smoothies are ingenious.fruitous or veggie (the green with kale, spinach etc.). ... don't forget to add a 30 gram protein intake. And now, the coffee... espressos, cappuccinos, Americans, latte, hot, icy, cold roast and nitro... what else on earth?!? 110% recommended!"

"What an absolute horrible experience. We sat at the bar to have dinner and the regular sitting next to us not only smelled but kept hacking all over. We moved down a seat and then ended up moving to a table in the lounge. He continued to hack all over. With Covid still being transmitted you would think the owner of the restaurant would tell this man not to come back. Apparently he is there all the time and does the same thing all the time. I feel bad for the staff that has to deal with this. I have gone 2 years with out caring this virus and I'm going to be passed if I get it now due to the owner allowing such behavior. The bartender was very nice and completely understood my frustration. Shame on the owner. No amount of business from this man would make me want his business. Never coming back. And we spent a good deal of money on our meal experience."
