Storm's Drive-in Lampasas

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this charming old-fashioned drive-in as a budget-friendly dining option. They offer a variety of delightful treats, like root beer floats, which are sure to make a lasting impression, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

In my opinion, this is one of the Best Burgers in Texas. When I am in town visiting family, in Lampasas, I look forward to getting the Storms Special. I wish they would open a Storms in Austin. I bet there would be lines around the block. The toasty bun and the crispy hamburger meat makes this so delicious.

After four years, I'm finally back home, and I couldn't wait to visit my favorite burger place, Community Storm. Their sausage burger is simply unparalleled and unlike anything I've come across elsewhere. I've traveled extensively through Texas, Georgia, and Florida, but nothing compares. First time here, it was the best establishment I have been to in a while. The employees were busy yet caring getting food out in handfuls. I got the Storm's special, which has three patties, veggies and an option of double cheese for 9.99. It came out HOT the burger did not disappoint, it was the best burger I have had by far. I will definitely be coming back here!

My friend had been insisting that we needed to try this place, and today we finally did! We went to a restaurant called Opposite and decided to order some burgers. I had a fantastic burger along with a root beer float, and everything was delicious! Since it’s a drive-in, we savored our meal in the car, which made for a fun experience. The prices were quite reasonable, too. I highly recommend checking it out!

I visited this restaurant based on the reviews and it did not disappoint! I placed an order for the Storm special with cheese, and it was amazing! It’s one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! The fries were also crispy and tasty. They provide these small napkins held together with a rubber band, which contain two salt packets inside. My burger was delicious and quite large, packed with fresh flavors and served hot. The fries were excellent, too. My wife's burger was tasty, and she enjoyed the spicy curly fries as well. Our total bill came to just over $17 before the tip, which felt very reasonable. There’s also a restroom on-site. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend it as a fun, old-fashioned drive-in dining option at affordable prices. This restaurant is fantastic! The service is excellent, and the food is delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. The fries are fantastic, and the burgers are just as wonderful—you can customize your burger with bacon and jalapeños, which is a nice touch. It's easy to see why it’s always busy. They have a lovely outdoor seating area that has recently been repainted, so it might still be closed for now. The restrooms are decent but could use some improvement. I highly recommend stopping by; we always make it a point to visit whenever we drive past.

We stopped by this place for dinner after a day of hiking at the nearby state park. My experience was horrible. Employees are confused. If you prefer a Storm's special they will automatically assume you ordered the no cheese version even though they showed the special with cheese in the picture. Our fries were cold and gross. They insisted on taking the fries back to the kitchen which we have already handled. Which to me seems pretty disgusting, if not a possible health code violation. Burgers weren't even good.
