Cute little cozy spot un the Southend/capital ave area. There are some really cool seasonal/unique drinks. Great espress, food, and fresh baked goods. The space inside is a little tight but there is outdoor seating.

Such a cute place! I stopped here tonight to catch up with some friends and between us all we tried quite a few of the drinks and they were all great. And the mint brownies were insanely delicious! Definitely worth a visit!

Are you freakin kidding! Hartford is lucky to have a cute artisan coffee place that is affordable and adorable like Story and Soil. So happy to have a café that carries Giv Coffee amongst other roasters. The staff is so friendly and sweet, and I'm sure to frequent this spot

I stopped by Story And Soil Coffee for the first time this morning and was happily surprised to see it bustling for a late Saturday morning! Even with the crowd, the service was exceptional, and the coffee was fantastic. I especially loved that they serve GIVCoffee, which I believe is the best available.

Story and Soil Coffee is the kind of café you’d expect to find in cities famous for their coffee culture, such as Portland, Austin, or Seattle; however, you can discover it right in Hartford! I stopped by Story and Soil this morning for an iced chai and on top of my drink being delicious, the atmosphere was so cute, Rolling Stones was playing on the record player, and the place was packed with people! Next time I'm in I am excited to try one of the coffee drinks and their pastries. We are very excited to have a great local coffee shop within walking distance from our apartment!

I was looking for a good coffee shop to work in yesterday as I 'm new to the area and needed to finish up some stuff from the week. While smaller than I expected, the staff was great, and they have a 'coffee 3 ways ' so I was able to buy 3 drinks in advance, work at one of their outside tables, and enjoy sipping a particular coffee presented 3 ways (in my case: iced, cortado, and french press).

So happy to have this new coffee shop in charming Frog Hollow. Great coffee and other creative drinks, cozy interior, friendly and talented staff, and an all around great brand right from the start. A nice place to camp out and get some work done (good wifi and nice seating looking out onto Capitol Avenue). Your passion for your craft and for your city really shows.
