"I've visited this Dairy Queen several times, and when they updated the menus and introduced new Coke machines, I thought it would improve. However, the food was disappointing. The burger patties were overcooked, and the chicken strips tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a while. I even tried the ice cream, but unfortunately, that wasn't great either. The dip cone I ordered looked unappetizing and was, quite frankly, the saddest dip cone I've ever had. I believe part of the problem with the food quality stems from the service. The employees seemed indifferent and uninterested. If you're looking for a good Dairy Queen experience, I recommend driving 30 miles north to the one in Odessa, where you'll find both great food and service. I've given this Dairy Queen multiple chances, but nothing ever changes."

"Yes and no the food is good but the service is not the best I called in an order or should I say tried to call in ,I got thru the girl who answered told me to hold on puts the phone down 10 minutes later I arrived there still on hold I place my order thru the drive thru with them on hold pay go around still on hold wait for my order got my order still on hold places like this loose service or should I say customers not because of the food but because the employees working here aren’t either trained right or have the knowledge that when they pick up a phone to take an order and they tell them to hold they should have the decency to walk back and finish taking the order or to see if someone is still on the phone like I said this place has good food but the employees here need a better manager or need someone to come train them if they don’t like taking phone orders they should take their number down"

"When the cheese sticks arrived, they were served plain, with no marinara or dipping sauce. I then ordered the big boy burger, which was supposed to feature brisket and hamburger meat. Instead, I received a pre-formed burger that tasted like something you’d buy from Sam’s or Walmart—definitely not like brisket at all and hardly worth the $14 price tag. I requested green chili and cheese on my burger, but it came covered in jalapeños instead. When I asked the server about the missing green chili, she went back to the kitchen and returned to tell me that if they’re out of green chili, they just substitute it with jalapeños. But green chili and jalapeños are completely different! My companion ordered the hot wings, and they arrived looking more like chicken nuggets smothered in sauce than actual wings. If I could give this place a -5 review, I would. It was just horrible."

I had a wonderful takeout experience. The food was impressive, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars. I particularly enjoyed the Breakfast Burrito and the Chili Cheese Coney. The Blue Raspberry Lemonade was refreshing and complemented my meal perfectly. The Double Cheeseburger and Jalapeno Burger also stood out as must-tries. The service was friendly and efficient, making the overall experience quite satisfying, also rated 4 out of 5. The atmosphere, even for takeout, was welcoming, contributing to an enjoyable lunch. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!"
