"Food was ok. We would have expected for it to be better for the price. I ordered lamb and it was chewy and not seasoned. It was served on a plate of unseasoned cooked onions and on a huge glob of feta cheese with a lot of olives on the side. It seemed like there wasn’t much effort put into the dish at all. Throw some cheese, olives and onions on a plate. The most frustrating part was the rudeness from the man at the front. I came in behind my friends. They walked in and he stopped me and said in a very rude, abrasive and condescending tone “you have to wear a mask in the dining room but I guess we must not have a sign outside”. Did I miss the sign? Apparently. I don’t mind wearing a mask. I had one in my bag. I understand the ask and agree, however, we do not live in this town and did not know it was required. Yes, our mistake for missing the sign but a reminder would have been fine. Instead of unwelcoming, rude and condescending behavior. We won’t be back here. For the quality of food, any chain restaurant is comparable"

"I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. My friends and I stopped by on our way and tried their appetizers and fried dumplings. The chicken dish was one of the best I've ever had - it was fresh, hot, and juicy. The noodles with sauce were also delicious. The aroma of the food was so enticing that we ended up eating in the parking lot! We only intended to have a quick bite of appetizers and didn't try their main dishes, but we definitely will next time. The location and environment were great. The only issue was locating their parking lot, as we had to search around for it due to traffic and a narrow road. It would be helpful if they had a sign outside to direct customers to the parking area."

"First time we tried we had no reservations, so we were told that it would be impossible to get in, well it sure is, a very small setting so reservation ahead is needed, but they do ask for your credicaed to charge you in case of no show or cancel in time.I was very excitted to try it but unfortunately it was a completely deception and way overpriced.I order, The risoto mascarpone parmesan with seared shrimp. Good amout of risoto good presentation but no salt or flavor whatsoever. The rice super crunch what not even could happen in a regular rice. The shrimps taste as they came from the ocean nothing else.My husband order, The Chicken parmesan that comes with Rigatoni on a tomato sauce and plus a side of roasted potatoes. He found the 0chicken flavorless not even enough salt, roasted potatoes the same way. Kind of very hard to mess up roasted potatoes. Well the Rigatoni, at keast was average, coocked al dente, tomato sauce tasted okay. Unfortunately not even the bread before dinner was good either, again hard to find bad bread or mess up with it.Anyways very desappointing...completely Fiasco"

"The manager gave us a table out on the patio, even though they were short staff and had closed the patio to more people. I was a bit afraid that our service would be slow because of the staffing issue. However, that wasn 't a problem at all. Our waiter, Dave, was awesome. He was attentive and engaging, and we never had to wait for anything. We never felt rushed or bothered by constant do you need anything else? (read: hurry up and leave). Dave was a great representative for the restaurant. The manager was so fun! She checked in on us a couple of times, even offering us bug spray for mosquitos (which we never saw or felt). The food was really good. The only reason I didn 't give them 5 stars on the food is because the pork in my tacos Al Pasto were a little tough. But the flavor was great. Their salsa was so good, and the salsa tower was really interesting. Several of those were too hot for my taste, but the others were really good. I can 't wait to come back to Sobre Mesa."
