"My wife and I frequently travel to New England, making the journey from New Hampshire to Cooperstown, NY every couple of years. On our way back home from Poestenkill, NY, we found ourselves stopped at a traffic light right in front of this restaurant, and we were hungry. I’ve had corned beef Reubens in fine dining establishments from New York and New Jersey to Chicago and all the way to the California coast, and I can tell you that Sunny Side holds its own among the best! The beef was excellent, and the house-made curly fries were fresh and delicious. My wife opted for the BLT and said it was wonderful. Our server was fantastic, and the owner was quite funny. The restaurant itself is clean and bright inside! Solid diners are hard to come by, but this one is a real gem. Don’t miss out on it! Support the hard work of these owners by enjoying and sampling their delicious food."

Took the family there (4 of us) for breakfast and it was excellent. Eggs, bacon, pancakes and waffles were all delicious! We all left full and happy. We'll be repeat customers, no doubt!

I enjoyed the freshly made corned beef hash, while my partner had pancakes topped with fresh raspberries. The food was delicious and reasonably priced considering the portion sizes, quality, and location. The service was excellent; our coffee was always full, and the staff was very friendly. Great service, very friendly atmosphere with lots of regulars. So many great dishes to choose from. I soon as I told my waitress I was considering the raspberry short stack, she said they were a favorite, and my mind was made up. She wasn't wrong they were delicious! Can't wait to go back and try more things.

I couldn't believe this little diner jumped, but then it was a Sunday morning. Such a nice place. Clean and bright. I always wanted to come by when I was in town and Sunday was my chance. A bit for breakfast. Fully! Homemade buttery biscuits with a fluffy scrambled egg and cheese. And a homemade cranberry muffin that became my dinner. Can't wait to eat again!
