The atmosphere here is perfect for a relaxing experience. Sarah is attentive and ensures that all your needs are met when you sit at the bar. The Titanic cocktail is absolutely delicious. Food rating: 5/5.

I had a fantastic experience at this sushi restaurant. I tried the Samurai roll, and it was so delicious that I returned for it again during my brief visit to the area. The restaurant itself is spacious and well-maintained, with a nice upscale atmosphere. I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for sushi or just want to relax with a beer at the bar.

I waited over an hour without receiving any food, and I truly wish I could leave a better review. I'm not upset with the server; she was very kind and apologized multiple times. I'm also not frustrated with the chefs. My disappointment lies with the management. This restaurant clearly needs more chefs and servers, as the staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. Sushi and Sushi is the best sushi in Anchorage. Sushi and Sushi always ensures they use high quality fish and the chefs ensure they put out quality sushi and interesting rolls. Along with great foods, Sushi and Sushi has excellent services. All of the wait staff is professional, friendly, attentive, and knowledgable, but Matt is the best of the best. Matt makes your visit to Sushi and Sushi a truly wonderful experience!

The food was so-so. The Yakisoba was light on sauce, half of what was brought out to us was no longer hot, etc. The waitress was nice enough but rather than take an extra step to give something to a person further down the table she just expected us to pass things. Not the end of the world and heck I do it at home but.. I don't tip for service at home either. Overall, I would go again if someone else was paying and there wasn't a better Japanese restaurant open.

This has been one of my favorite sushi spots in Anchorage for many years. I checked out their new location about a month ago and the service and food were excellent.I do miss their location behind Moose's Tooth, but the new place is nice. The dining atmosphere is fine but I don't care for TV's in restaurants, it takes away from the ambiance.It's been hit or miss with good customer service over the years, but nothing that would warrant not returning. Inside was very modern and extremely busy for a Thursday at 4:00pm. Had a wait time of about 15 minutes which was fine. We ordered the orange chicken and two rolls of sushi. Chicken came out right away and was amazing, I think they forgot about us for the sushi though lol. Took like 45 minutes before I waited came over and realized we hadn’t gotten our food. She was extremely apologetic and brought our rolls out instantly which were very tasty. She even brought us some fried Oreos for free which totally made up for the wait time. I rate atmosphere, food and service all 4 stars. Pretty damn good but nothing different from other sushi places in town. Worth a try!

So unless you want to pay for overpriced sushi and bad service by all means visit. We did have a large group of 23 people but they knew we were coming by reservation. I don’t know if they didn’t prep well enough but it actually seemed like they didn’t care much for the business. No one got their drinks in time including water. They set down some little jugs of water that filled our little cups and never came back to see if we needed more. We ordered alcoholic beverages and wanted more but no one came back to ask us for more. Now I’m not a restaurant owner but I know that alcohol and drinks are a good sell due to the cost. This establishment recently moved across town. Although I’ve been frequenting this place for over 20 years and have always liked it, I haven’t been since they moved. So, the other night I went to the new location. I was so very disappointed. Place looked very nice but now instead of bar seating in front of the sushi chefs, you’re at a bar across the room from them. Didn’t care for that. In the old location, chefs greeted you when you arrived. Servers seemed nice, friendly and cordial. Not now. Now they act very cold. Not nice. I ordered a very simple entree.
