"We had dinner here on a Sunday night, and arrived at 7:30 with two hours until closing. Almost immediately we were rushed into ordering, we did not even finish our food and drinks before they started turning off the music, putting up chairs, and turned on the lights (around 8:30). When we asked about closing time we received a rude and defensive response about how they were very slow that evening and needed to close. While we understand that businesses need to make hard decisions, kindness would have gone a long way. Disappointing as it is a nice neighborhood spot."

I had heard that this restaurant serves amazing fish and chips, and I was not let down. It was a fantastic dining experience and I am looking forward to returning.

The steak was undercooked and the combination of horseradish dressing with a 100% arugula salad was not a good match. The iced tea was terrible and the service was also very poor.

This used to be a place that I'd always suggest as a solid choice that did a great job of upholding PDX expectations, standards, and restaurant scene. At the time I would've happily given them a 5-star for overall quality and doing a great job of holding down their category. But they done fell off! Although there's no reason that they can't make some better choices, recall past diligence, and improve quality.

This is definitely my top choice for a neighborhood pub. There is a wide variety of drink options and hands down THE BEST burger in town - it's not just my opinion, it's a fact. The owner or manager is friendly and frequently present. The atmosphere is always bustling but in a positive way. The food arrives promptly, is always served hot, and consistently maintains its high quality. It truly is the best hidden gem in NE Portland. I highly recommend giving it a try. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are available.
