"I am sitting here waiting on my togo order. I can't comment on the food yet, but am already so impressed with the customer service here. More specifically I'd like to comment on the gentleman that is working the register and window. I haven't caught his name, but he is kind, does his job with a smile and constantly working. Moreover he has been working like crazy, but hasn't looked stressed or overwhelmed. He keeps hustling with a smile and makes you believe he truly enjoys his job and the customers. I'm very impressed so far."

"We went for the all you can eat salad bar, it was pretty bare, out of lettuce and tomatoes and cheese we asked and she said, she would bring out some lettuce. She put just enough out for 2 small salads and we asked about tomatoes and cheese. She came back with 5 wedges of tomato, and the cheese was about 1/2 an inch deep in a small bowl. The salad was fine but when we went back for a little more it was still bare. There was about 6 people eating but the wife and I were the only ones who had the salad bar. I get not wanting to waste anything but if you have to ask for every item on the salad bar to be brought out, I’m just gonna pass and make the trip to Jasons in Ft. Worth."

"I got ribs slice brisket and turkey and a baked potato. The ribs were good could have been alittle more tender i like the fall off the bone but i get thats not the right way blah blah. The brisket was perfect and i mean perfect but the turkey was my fav out of this world great. I ordered a baked pot this thing was the real deal. It was huge lots of sour cream butter and cheese. I asked for bacon it was a upcharge which kinda was like really but it was real bacon. There drink choice had me throwed but they was great and the dr. Doctor really is better than dr. Pepper. Over all if im ever back in this town i will be comin here."

"Small Town, old school charm.. exactly what you expect from a hometown diner. Forget the looks of the place the people and the food are what make this place a 5+ Cafe. All the staff are nice, quick witted, and helpful, but don't sass them or you'll be put in your place. Food is well priced. Chicken fried steak and eggs was huge and come with a side of 2 or 3 eggs, hashbrows and a biscuit and side of gravy. They also have one without breading and both are excellent tasting and well made. When I tell you that they made perfect eggs I mean it. It's probably been 5 years since any place you very done over medium eggs right and these were perfect. Lovely place to stop, eat, and chat with people. Like we all used to before we took our phones everywhere."
