"1/24/2020 at about 7pm: I just tried to order takeout for my family and I. I have some life-threatening food allergies. The woman answered the phone and seemed rushed to get our order in, maybe she’s busy, that’s understandable. But when it came to the end of the call, I alerted her of my allergies. She responded that they cook everything in the same oils. I asked if they could cook just my portion of the order in a different, clean pan. The response was no, and that their kitchen was “too small” to cater to my food allergies. Our order would’ve cost about 60 dollars, that’s 60 bucks they didn’t make tonight. Clearly this establishment is not Serve-Safe... which is quite concerning and could warrant a visit from the Heath Food Inspector, who I will be reaching out to tomorrow during business hours. I realize I have allergies and there are some places I can’t go, but it’s pretty ridiculous how rude she was on the phone about my allergies. I can’t help it, it’s not a choice, it’s not because I’m a picky eater... I have life threatening food allergies that will send me into anaphylaxis and to the emergency room. If they want to be responsible for it, then that’s fine, I’ll just go back with a lawsuit and my hospital bill and a bill for a refill of Epi-Pens (over 100 dollars a piece). Two thumbs down and 0/5 stars for being professional and accommodating. If you have allergies DO NOT GO HERE! They clearly don’t care about being Serve Safe, and hopefully no one gets sick or has to be hospitalized because of food allergies. I’m a Pittsfield native, and I have eaten here before. But the simple fact that the woman on the phone was so rude and so inconsiderate of my allergies, will guarantee I will not be spending my hard earned money here again. Sucks to be you, Tahiti."

If you're looking for a Chow Mein that resembles hospital food, lacks seasoning, and doesn't truly taste like Chow Mein, then this is the place for you. Additionally, the woman who answers the phone is quite rude.

First, the delivery driver was very rude! The Teriyaki chicken is dry. The vegetable beef had only 2 small pieces of beef in it. This is the most disappointing Chinese food I've had for a long time. Definitely will never order again.

Worst chinese food I have ever eaten. My wife and I ordered a bunch of food there yesterday I had general-tso's and it was the worst I have ever had. Absolutely no flavor. All it is is watered down colored chicken. If I could give less than one star I would.

The lady that picks up the phone is so rude and has no idea what customer service is. Very unprofessional. She.must be the owner because i would of fire her on the spot. And they over charging for their food. Which would not be so bad if their was some courtesy. They taking advantage of this pandemic. So sad that people like her exist in this world Visualizza piatti

Tahiti Takeout has really declined in quality! The rice is consistently old and tough, almost like small plastic bits. The vegetables are so undercooked that they’re practically raw! Given the prices, one would expect a much better experience than before. I truly hope you're working to improve your business. I think I’ll order from Wok from China instead.

I've always enjoyed this Chinese restaurant and have wished that the dining room was open more often. However, since it's quite small, it's understandable. The food is really tasty, especially the chicken fingers, although they seem to have more breading than chicken these days. Despite that, their meals are still quite good. My favorite dish is the golfer's special.

Don’t be fooled by their Regular’s reviews!!! Where’s the show “Bar rescue” when you need it. Best Chinese food in Berkshire County. However; rudest wait staff and bartenders ever. They’re best friends with their regulars and treat everyone else like a burden. It’s like a social club instead of a business. Like hello??? do you want my money?? Or a good tip? Guess not. Suggestion; hire new wait staff, hire adequate delivery drivers, and treat people with respect....like everywhere else!!!! Maybe add online ordering so we don’t have to talk to rude staff. Taking my business elsewhere until then. Visualizza piatti

Very disappointed! I never write reviews but I went in for a quick lunch the very nice bartender told me to have a seat in the dining room. I sat and listened to the waitress have a long loud phone conversation for 15 minutes than hang up and go tell the rest of the staff about it. Than she came in and got my order and wrote it down when it came it was white rice not the pork fried rice I asked for. The general two's chicken was so tuff it was hard to chew. The egg roll literally had at least a tablespoon of oil run out of the bottom of it. I have eaten here many times but it will be a long time before I go back. PS. I was in there for a hour for a quick lunch.

Ordered close to 100 of food. I waited an hour an a half for for the delivery. They show up and bring me someone else’s order. I know they get busy, I know I ordered a lot. But she confirmed the order with me 2 separate times. They seemed more concerned with verifying that I was a real customer and not a prankster than actually delivering the correct order. I called a few moments ago to report the mix up and request my correct order. She said she would have them redo the order and have it redelivered. So I am assuming I will be waiting another hour and half to eat. I love their food, but not enough to wait 3 hours to eat my dinner. This will be my last contribution to this establishment. I w...

"It 's hard to tell if this restaurant is an intentional prank being played on the residents of Pittsfield, or just has a chef owner who is clueless. Honestly, we 've had better Italian cuisine (and much better service, in a much nicer atmosphere) almost anywhere else locally...and for a fraction of the price. It 's hard to know where to begin. First the food. We 've tried a number of dishes, so let 's take them one by one. If someone served you what they called puttanesca that was full of whole cloves of raw garlic, kalamata olives with the pits still in them, no anchovies (even though these are listed in the menu as an ingredient), a grand total of four large capers, with a tomato sauce that is nothing more than crushed tomatoes straight from the can (seemingly without any seasoning at all) and some olive oil, what would you do? Would you even eat it? Would you send it back? Would you at least complain to the kitchen, or perhaps ask for a side of anchovies...? Well I might have done something...if on this occasion our server had ever returned to the table after dropping off this bad joke of a meal. But he was nowhere to be found, and I was hungry, so I just choked down the very tiny, $18 mess of seriously chewy pasta (a few minutes short of al dente). Of course, Trattoria Rustica does have anchovies. In fact you can order them as an hors d 'oeuvre neatly placed on thin slices of roasted red pepper (the bottled kind, not roasted at the restaurant). This, too, is priced as if you 're getting something very special, which you 're not. How about the lamb entrée? I will say that when I ordered this my lamb was really delicious and cooked exactly as requested. So what was the problem? Well we can forget about presentation, as the meat was just tossed haphazardly onto a bed of wilted greens, but it 's the side of house veggies that really disappoints. This time they were woefully undercooked swiss chard in an uncut heap that was impossible to consume without cutting into smaller, fibrous clumps and lima beans that were likewise so undercooked they had to be chewed very slowly and carefully (or just abandoned, which is what I ended up doing). And...we paid $48 for this dish? Really? I could go on...about my wife 's overcooked fish, or a friend 's boat of chewy mozzarella with the same unseasoned crushed tomatoes on it (it was supposed to also contain artichokes, but like my puttanesca 's capers she found only hints of them), or the side of polenta that tasted so strongly of sun dried tomatoes that it overwhelmed everything else on the table, or the tiramisù that offered just one main flavor: powdered sugar. Even the espresso drinks have been watery, flavorless, and dull. After the food, the service is generally just...pretty terrible. Inattentive, uninformed about the menu, zero follow up after food is served, order details forgotten, bill not handled correctly....Either Trattoria Rustica doesn 't train its serving staff, or they tolerate a high level of incompetence. But the staff are certainly coached to use Italian phrases at every opportunity on the phone when making a reservation, or while reciting the specials which lends a wonderful authenticity to the charade. As to the atmosphere...if you enjoy what, on busy nights, can be extremely crowded and cramped seating in a dark, stifling hot and humid space, then you 'll be very comfortable here. If you want to miss the crowding and heat and see your food more clearly, opt to sit out on the back patio. I think the best part of a meal at Trattoria Rustica is interacting with the same panhandler in the parking lot across the street each time you know, the one who pretends to have been just released from a hospital, with various ailments and disabilities depending on the time of year. I feel that this con artist offers greater authenticity and a more interesting local flavor than Trattoria Rustica."
