We were warmly welcomed and served in good time. We are well used to indian cuisine in france so were pleasantly suprised that the dishes we chose were well flavoured and authentic.... not as hot as the uk but delicious.

nous avions l'habitude de manger indien dans une autre région et nous cherchions un resto sympa et gouteux et bien c chose faite pour cette première visite dans ce restaurant ou nous avons trouvé le gout, la gentillesse, l'accueil.nous y retournerons avec plaisir

My daughter warned me about the quality of food at this restaurant, but we really fancied an indian meal. The decoris very tired and it was cold in the room. We had poppodums and chutneys to start. The chutneys seemed to bewatered down and were not nice at all. We ordered two chicken currys and asked for them to be spicy. Thecurries were very tasty but for nearly 12 euros for 5 pieces of chicken breast in a curry was very expensive. Theside dishes were of lentils which was fine, but the mixed vegetable curry was made from frozen vegetables and inedible. Our meal with wine cost nearly 65 euros incredibly overpriced and definately not worth it at all.

We had a wonderful meal at the Taj Mahal. We were greeted by a friendly chap who was helpful and friendly. We recieved good service throughout our meal even though the gentleman was on his own for the first part of our evening. The interior was slightly dated but I liked it. We had a a super starter of onion barjis and vegetable somosas. They were not the same as the ones we were used to in the UK but very tasty none the less. The sauces for the starters were delicious. The beer and wine were super and reasonably priced. For our mains we has a prawn curry and a fish curry. We asked for them to be spicy and they were! The water jug came in handy! Both curries were excellent with a great blend...

Wow - this was truly awful, perhaps the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The starting point was asking for the heating to be turned on - 30 minutes later I had to work out how to turn it on as the owners couldn't be bothered to. Then there was the menu and the waiter. The set menu and the a la carte both had a similar sounding chicken dish, so was there was any difference? The waiter clearly didn't have a clue and provided us with the really useful information that one dish was on the set menu and one was on the a la carte - and then said that our French was not very good and we wouldn't understand.
