"Edited to add: After writing this review, I went mainly to Keto. It doesn't change anything for me at Takis! It's so nice to order fresh food that fits in my diet plan. Her Greek grilled chicken adds so much taste, and the American chicken melts (no bread) with peppers, onions and a little cheese are delightful! Omelettes are made fresh to order and can be a healthy, high protein meal for me. Their side salads also add a large PUNCH of taste, as they have already added with delicious, healthy vegetables - not as the Bland salads serve most places. There are so many options available, regardless of your diet. Kudos to you Takis, for excellent service and help me meet my healthy goals! So you know the beautiful idea of an old-fashioned hometown dinner? That's it and more! I live near and this place was consistently delicious from the time that I was a young child until now that I was an adult woman with three children of my own. They have affordable rotating blue-plate style specials daily, which are easy on their Fb page... or just call them and ask. You will receive the menu list and a page of the southern charm. Some of my favorites are the Quesadilla, the 3 appetizer plate and the grilled chicken sandwich. As long as I can remember, my father ordered the Elvis Burger and it has always come right. This is a place where food is affordable and where community comes together. Expect to be welcomed with a warm welcome and enjoy a wealth of options from old American standards to incredible Greek dishes as well. The owners are known in the city and are humble, friendly and community-oriented. I can send one of my children comfortably to go to food and know that they are treated friendly and that the food is right. If you're close, don't miss this little town darlington institution... and have a bang at the decoration! Tell them Laci sent you and grabs a piece of coconut cake. Everything was delivered fast, fresh and tasteful FANTASTIC!"

It’s a nice little place. We’ve had breakfast there a couple times and always had good service. I hear that their menu. The rest of the day is tasty also.

Takis is not a fast food restaurant. After you order, sit back, put your phone downs and relax and talk to whoever is with you or the waitress. Food has always been pretty dang good!
