the best mexican in the opposite and it is actually family owned/operated. nothing knows or prefabricated, everything from ground up. every cent worth.

Small establishment. Seemed family-ran. Very nice staff. The tortillas are handmade fresh to order and were amazing. Decent portions. I will come back.

hang down the best authentic food I ever had. sweet little jewel of an ortes! service was phenomenal. now I wish I didn't live so far from this place! I would go every week haha. a must try! I had the orden de sopes with carnitas! so delicious.

This restaurant is fantastic! It's a hidden gem with a cozy atmosphere. They make drinks with fresh fruit, and I had the Tamarindo which was delicious - I even took one home with me. The portions of food are very generous and excellent, especially for the price. As a vegetarian, they accommodated my needs without any hassle, which was much appreciated. Our waitress, who happened to be the cook's daughter, was a delight. I highly recommend this place!

We decided to dine here after reading the positive Yelp reviews, and we were not disappointed. The food presentation was stunning! Our server Mariana was incredibly friendly. We have visited multiple times and the food has always been consistently delicious. I always order the large steak tacos which are incredibly filling. One of my daughters usually opts for the chicken mitesa with fries, which come in generous portions. Even she, who is a picky eater, loves it! Their food is amazing! So tasty we talked about it for days after. We visited on the way to Legoland, and were sad we couldn't head back that way again. Their salsa was so amazing we carried some with us for 3 days and only threw it out when we had to go through airport security. Talavera was an unexpected gem in the middle of nowhere, and I'm truly sad I wont be able to visit often. You should absolutely stop by if you are in the area or just passing through. They also offer a lot more vegetarian options that aren't on the menu, so be sure to ask. Six months later, we still talk about our dinner there fondly.

This place is absolutely fabulous. We stopped in for the first time and were pleasantly surprised with the wonderful service and delicious food. They brought out some chips and salsa for us to snack on while we waited for our food. My toddler enjoyed the salsa so much. He was obsessed with it! You can tell they make everything fresh and from scratch. There is a decent sized menu with something for everyone to like. We can’t wait to come back and try more things. The portion sizes are very generous and we both have leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch which I am really looking forward to!! The place looked adorable all decorated for the holidays with music playing. a graduate-level course where no book (restaurant) is judged by its cover (entry). if they are looking for grandiose ambiente, eye-catching decor and average eating, they go somewhere else. when they eat more than the decoration, they put their forking phone down and go to talavera. they will not be disappointed. the proportions are typical American size, so they do not leave starving. when they get the nachos, ready to eat at home or come with an empty bauch and a joey Chestnut size appetit. their food is freshly prepared to order, and the ingredients are also fresh and tasteful. it is really a family business and operated business, and they are quite likely that the children are helped wit...
