"Got in little late decided to UberEATS some food from this new Vietnamese restaurant. Flavors pretty solid but not best execution I 've had. ITEM 'S ORDERED: Garlic Noodle w/ Shaken Beef Spicy Basil Chicken w/ Rice TASTE: Garlic Noodle w/ Shaken Beef was executed ok. The beef being filet mignon was not as tender as expected, but not so bad. Has a more tame savory black pepper flavor with just a hint of sweetness. The noodles seemed either a little too al dente or maybe somewhat stale or old. Garlic flavor was a little too weak but not a bad flavor overall. There 's green red bell peppers as well as cilantro. Spicy Basil Chicken w/ Rice was the winner in this meal. Very well seasoned flavorful. Savory, but not overly salty actually quite spicy as you continue to eat. Glad the rice was not overcooked pairs well with the very flavorful sauce. There 's green red bell peppers as well as cilantro in this one as well. Both entrees come with a little romaine lettuce side salad with tomatoes pickled radish carrots. Lightly sweet, vinegary mayo dress dressing which I liked. I did not like the ends of the romaine hearts being in there. They should always be discarded. Everything was overly oily/greasy to the point you can just feel it all in your lips as you keep eating. At least it 's all quite flavorful since it 's really bad when it 's all oily lacking in flavor. Everything was quite hot when it arrived. Did not have to reheat anything. I do live close to this restaurant though. SERVICE, LOCATION PARKING: UberEATS order so no direct comments on service. All the food was packed well I like that they gave garlic chili sauce which pairs well with these foods. They are located in that somewhat new strip mall right across Costco off of Commonwealth Date. You can enter on either of those streets. There 's a shared parking lot which is usually easy to find a spot in. But it 's still usually busy in there since the parking lot is not really big enough for all the businesses there. Food was not a complete fail flavors were mainly solid so I 'm not opposed to getting food here again. Plus I 'm just so close to it as well."

"This is my favorite place! Outstanding service, perfect music, friendliness of staff, etc. all go far to making Shiro the ideal place to spend an evening. And the food! You cannot get better food anywhere. The menu is very creative (and always changing), and each plate is unforgettable. And the staff is equal to the food in excellence, so that I feel I always feel I am being welcomed home. This is the hidden gem of Pasadena, and I would be willing to travel far for the Shiro experience. Highest recommendation!"

"We decided to grab a quick sushi lunch before heading back to the Bay Area. No 1 Kazuko is located right across the street from my hotel the San Gabriel Hilton on Valley Blvd. I made reservations and was seated right away. There is a QR code menu but we were handed a lunch menu which we ordered from. Deluxe Chirashi 4 stars nice fresh cuts of fish but nothing special that makes it deluxe. No 2 Bento 4 stars comes with grilled mackerel, tempura, sashimi and a salmon tuna poke salad. Nigiri sushi lunch 4 stars normal cuts of fish Service was good. Parking in the rear at the Del Mar Ranch 99 shopping center. If you sit at the booths near the sushi bar there is a TV."

"Overall, my experience at the restaurant was mediocre. The food was edible, but not necessarily tasty. The coffee was watery, but not overly bitter. The orange juice was very good. The servers were efficient, but not very attentive to our needs. The hostess was short and rude. The table was somewhat clean, but not as clean as it could have been. Many employees were wearing masks, but only a few had them properly covering their faces. It was unclear if they were wearing shields for when they were feeling sick and practicing social distancing."

"Love this location. We order from this BR often and once or twice we?ve had a cone missing from our order not a big deal, it happens. Last time we ordered, I made a note as a reminder for the cone. Not only did we get the cone, we even got a free small scoop of seasonal ice cream, plus a cute note (small note on left in picture !
