Great nook of a place with tapas. Had the lollipop lamb and salad with a strong drink Rebel Rose . Would come again.

Cool bar, great food. Bartender robby was an awesome guy, he was entertaining and great customer service! Well definitely be back

What a beautiful restaurant ! Hard to tell from outside the great experience you might have inside. Their downstairs and backyard ambiance is lovely. The lamb chops and scallops were great. Their service was great as well.

I ate at Tapas just two days ago. It’s a very cozy place. I loved the atmosphere, and I especially loved the small, easy to share portion sizes, which let us all try multiple dishes. Mostly I wanted to write this review for the good people there. absolutely incredible. the host was a joy to speak while we waited for our table (we arrived a bit early) and before we even got the menu we were blown away from the facility. so many great paintings! but the most important thing is eating, and that was absolutely with the rest. it was incredible! the portion sizes are small (it is called tapas after all), but that meant that my partner and I all stopped and satisfied our food, but not overly filled. I would highly recommend!

I had been to Tapas 177 for drinks, years ago, but never ate there. Until last night. Perfect spot for a first date, or any date. The ambience was romantic and cozy. The food was delicious, and my date I shared 5 different dishes. We were at the restaurant for 3.5 hours. Our waiter/server was extremely polite and friendly, knew the menu well. He patiently answered our questions, and never once tried to rush my date and Ii out. It made for a perfect first date; we look forward to returning.

great eating, cocktails and ambiente. Tapas restaurants are strangely sparse in rochester's food scene, not Spanish-focused, tapas 177 fills this hole in my heart beautiful. we have tried the Calamari salad, the mushroom and cream cheese competition, the PEI showers and the lamb frame. all were great, but the crispy, delicate calamari and incredibly tasteful muddles are particularly distinguished. several seating (table on the way, bar on the upper floor, lounge in the ground floor and in the courtyard) and it is a really livelier, fun place on the evenings.
