"I will stop here every time I pass through town. The building doesn’t look like it’s open, or that it’s even a restaurant. Don’t be afraid, it’s the best Mexican food we’ve had in a long time. The al pastor tacos and carne asada burrito were amazing, but the star was the hot sauce. The green chile and red chile sauce is out of this world. Seriously. I could drink it, but you don’t have to because there are free homemade chips at the salsa bar. The people working there are incredibly friendly too. I highly recommend!"

We visited very late , 20 minutes before close and was offered to have a dine in food. But the food was really disappointing, quality was not good. Even the rice and beans were not good. Would not recommend. But this was the only option open untill night 10. Food: 2 Service: 2

I ordered a mojarra. Which was fried (old). God knows when it was, I left it aside to show part of it and the boy didn't even pay attention to me, he pretended not to care. I ordered some tacos to try and with the excuse of having a good experience. THE THING WAS WORSE THEY MADE ME WAIT 25 MINUTES, so his service is terrible. I hope that at least the comment remains as a memory for you so that you learn to respect customers. Service: Dine in

"This place has a little hidden secret......THE HAMBURGERS....yes, add cheese but the burgers are simply AMAZING. My husband isn't a Mexican food fan and we were both pleasantly surprised. I was actually a little jealous as I ate my burrito with green chili. Can't wait to travel back through this town."

"We had a short wait to be seated at this Very Busy Popular Restaurant. Waitress asked for drinks and suggested appetizers, we only ordered Drinks! David got a cold beer and I chose water with lemon. We then waited for a while before we were able to order. I ordered Pulled Pork, Sweet Potato, and applesauce. David got a Steak (Tri Tip as they ran out of Prime Rib. It came with Baked Sweet Potato, and Green beans. I realized they were busy, but I 'm certain we sat with only our drinks for nearly 20- 30 minutes. Sadly, the Kitchen was so busy and we finally got our plates our food was cold. We both agreed we should 've asked ou waitress to heat them up. But, as our waitress was about 3-4 weeks new, we tried to explain the Kitchen should 've made sure any food was not cold! (Not the waitress. Once we explained our reasons, she did offer a free dessert. Because both our meals were pricey, David asked for a dessert for each of us. We don 't Blame our waitress and gave her some tips. We still gave her a 20% tip. Management NEEDS to address the issues of cold food, and long wait time."

"A road trip with a friend from Colorado Springs to Dalhart, just for the fun, and we came at 9 a.m. or so, and most things were closed until that time, but we saw pizza hat was open. Unfortunately, there was a long waiting period for the bread sticks and the pizza, but it was worth waiting. Probably one of the best crusts I've ever had. The Dalhart sign was also a nice thing for a picture store of my trip down there, definitely recommend."

"Traveling through we hit dinner time and wanted more of a sit down home style meal instead of our fast food frenzy we’ve had on most of our road trip. So we decided to venture more into the heart of town and found this place a few blocks down from the main highway. This isn’t a Ruth’s Chris or Texas land Cattle by any means but we were willing to give it a try because we were craving steak and potatoes. My wife orders the Top sirloin (medium) with mashed potatoes. I ordered the 12oz ribeye (medium) with green beans. I think our server was inexperienced or the cooks have no idea how to time the cooking to be plated at the same time. Instead of bringing all our food out together she decided to bring out each plate as it was placed on the expo line. My wife’s plate comes out first and instead of top sirloin like the server repeated back to us and she confirmed how we wanted it cooked, the plate had chopped sirloin basically a huge hamburger patty. We sent it back immediately. Then my order came out and I immediately knew it was not cooked as I requested, medium. There were no juices flowing on top or around it. I cut into it and it’s like cutting into leather. Dry and over cooked with no red or pink juices to be found. The seasoning was good but it was just so tough to chew and very dry that I had to soak it in A1 sauce to get some moisture on each bite. I attached a picture of a piece. I was sharing with my daughter and we weren’t feeling like waiting another 15mins for it to be corrected. The saving grace was the fact they brought my wife out her top sirloin perfectly cooked medium. The manager was willing to take 20% off my check. So half our meal was good, for that they get half the stars. if we pass through again and itching for steak we might give this another try but definitely asking for a different server."
