I absolutely adore the Italian bread from this bakery. Everything they offer is fresh and delicious. The ambiance has a genuine old-world charm, making it a wonderful, no-frills bakery. I make a special trip every morning just to get their bread.

I love this Bakery. Their Lobster Ravioli is food of the gods. Their milk biscuits, are to die for. Their focaccia (tried all) is delish, freezes well and reheats well. Their bread is fresh, tasty and is not gloopy. Uhg cant wait to go back soon.

The bread here is absolutely the best I've ever had! Honestly, I hadn't tasted real bread until I discovered Terranova. I'm so pleased that this place has been established for a long time; there's definitely a good reason for its longevity. Plus, the tip about storing the bread in the fridge is perfect! A quick toast in a pan with some butter is heavenly. If you're feeling adventurous, I would recommend adding avocado and chili crisps for an extra kick!

The best bread! One bit of a problem tho, some of your employees are very sweet respectful very welcoming. There is just one of them that it’s a bit rude I wanted to know if she has every right to stop me from buying more than 5 packs of 7 grains bread? She quickly tells me that she can’t sell me whatever it’s left because she has to have at least 1 or 2 packs of bread in display for other customers to buy. If I’m a customer I want to buy whatever is left is because I live pretty far. I love the bread don’t get me wrong it’s the best I as a customer would love to buy without an employee rudely telling me that she can’t sell me whatever is left.

Terranova bakery is a 'must stop ' for your 187th Street Arthur Avenue tour! I 've been going there for over 30 years and LOVE them. They have a variety of freshly made bread products, all of which will keep you coming back for years. The staff is warm and friendly, always greeting you with that calm smile no matter how crowded the store may be. They also have fresh frozen home made pasta products which are also unsurpassed. I LOVE their ravioli. The filling is rich and creamy (some tend to be more cottage cheese like consistency) and they are shaped round, which makes them easier to handle IMHO.
