If you visit on a Saturday make a reservation. Food was good.

Always love this beautiful quaint restaurant. The food is amazing. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Gotta work on service. Great place though.

Food was good but a couple things we ordered the waitress came out minutes before food and said they were out. Poor planning on the chef. Busy Saturday evening only 6:00 shouldn't have been out of anything if so we should have been told up front.

The experience was wonderful until we received the bill. We ordered a salad with crab, but they charged us an extra $10 for it and served us only a half portion. When we spoke with Renee, the bartender and manager, she informed us that we had ordered incorrectly. Unfortunately, Renee didn't handle the situation well. First of all. The large old grey/blonde lady at the bar is absolutely horrible!!!! Rude, and rude to the people that she works with. If you're going to be cranky and nasty it's time to retire! The quality of food does not match the price! My chicken was good, however, it was served with rice and corn. The menu said the sides were “Chef's Choice” but it was cheap frozen corn the kind you buy in the grocery store for $0.99 the rice was just average rice. Terrible experience. The dining room was dirty, and despite having only a few customers, the service was slow and lackluster. The water glasses were unclean, and the water had an unpleasant odor. We should have just walked out at that point, but we didn't have many options. The appetizers were acceptable, but since we were sharing, the waiter only brought one spoon for the soup and even remarked, “Oh, I only brought one,” without offering to bring another. The main course took 15 minutes to arrive and was overcooked. We decided to leave without finishing our meal. We paid the bill and will never return. Just a heads up for others…

My wife and I decided to stop by this restaurant in Harpers Ferry, having dined here years ago. The interior is quite lovely—cozy and comfortable. The service was adequate, though it seemed they had more guests than staff, which can happen. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to my expectations. We ordered the mango shrimp, but it was quite disappointing; all I could taste was a charred flavor, and I suspect it had BBQ sauce, not a hint of mango. The smoked chicken was decent but lacked flavor. On the bright side, the kielbasa was excellent, and the mac and cheese was also very good. However, the overall meal left much to be desired.
