Place was recommended by a coworker, quick service, warm environment. I recommend the duck breast.

Classic pub vibe. The food, service, and ambiance were all quite good. I tried the salad with steak, and while it was enjoyable, it was a bit loud inside. Note for those with dietary restrictions: there are limited gluten-free options available. I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was around $20–30. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 4 stars.

I am baffled by all the hype. It was an interesting building, but beyond that, it was one of the worst meals I have had. I did try something new. However, the meat and cabbage I struggled to even cut bites it was so tough. Service was lacking. I ran out of drink for a significant period of time with no acknowledgment. I would always give a place a 2nd chance, but I don’t have much desire to go back.

I was told this is one of the best places for real world class food. The menus changes with what the chef is able to get fresh and he does not disappoint!! Steak was the best I have had in virginia. The desert menus had us both doing pretzel bread pudding. OMG crazy good and easily would have been double the price in Richmond or more in DC. Worth the 1 hr drive. Over and over! As for parking, the nearby empty lots are available, but be cautious; they may not be suitable for smaller vehicles due to potholes and other obstacles. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around $20–30. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, with service matching that score. The atmosphere receives a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Pub Burger and the Steak. Finding parking can be somewhat tricky, but there are options available, including free lots and street parking.

We hadn 't been to The Brickhouse Run in at least two years and it 's still the same great restaurant. The ambiance is welcoming and friendly, all with the feeling of stepping back in time to a local pub. The food is excellent generous portions and interesting combinations. For our party of four (two couples), we shared the Ruben Chips creative and delicious! Our entrees were equally tasty fish 'n chips, pasta primavera, and Caesar salad with steak. Our server was lovely. When two of us regretted our selection of wine, she made an adjustment that started us on a wonderful casual dining experience. Definitely recommended!!

My wife and I decided to venture out to Old Town Petersburg for dinner on a Saturday night with the intent of trying The Brickhouse Run. We were not disappointed. We were greeted at the door with a smiling face who was very pleasant. We enjoyed a drink and lively conversation with some regulars at the bar while we waited for a table. Once seated, the waitress was wonderfully attentive. I had the butcher's special, which was a Waygu Ribeye that was absolutely amazing. In fact, it was the best steak that I have ever eaten, period. The entire meal was exceptional. We will be back. The Brickhouse Run will become our destination, especially when entertaining out of town guests. Visualizza piatti
