"While it's not fast food, and even when the restaurant isn't busy, it can take some time to receive your order – but trust me, the wait is worth it. They offer a great variety of breakfast options, including plenty of choices for vegetarians and vegans, all prepared fresh to order. You can enjoy your meal outdoors on the small, covered patio just steps from Clear Creek, breathing in the cool mountain air as cyclists and walkers pass by on the nearby nature path. The experience is quite special. The coffee is decent, the breakfast exceeds expectations, and the ambiance is unparalleled, set along a historic Stagecoach route. It's easy to let your thoughts drift back to the rich history of the Colorado Rockies. Additionally, this restaurant is conveniently located next to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a legendary venue, and just up the street from Bandimere Speedway, where drag racers reign supreme. Blue Cow offers a memorable experience, just a few minutes from downtown Denver, easily accessible off the Morrison exit from C-470. Enjoy your visit!"

Burgers. I had the 1/3 burger topped with green chili and bacon, and it was an excellent choice for my last meal!

We're addicted to the burgers. They're fantastic. The onion rings are fat and juicy and much better than the pommes. Get ice cream too!

They are slow but the food is good, I like that I could take my dog there in their patio. They have the best squeezed grapefruit juice that I ever had in my life.

We had a fantastic breakfast at a delightful spot to relax with family. The bagels and cream cheese are excellent, and the omelets are both fresh and generously sized. The customer service is collaborative and really adds to the experience.

The food here is simple yet delicious, and I really enjoy dining here. The prices are reasonable, which is a definite plus. My only concern is the inconsistent service; it can be hit or miss at times. Be prepared to sit back and take in the views and atmosphere, but overall, the food definitely makes it worth the visit. My wife decided to try the Reuben sandwich, which she highly recommends. I opted for a grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoes, which I also recommend. My wife's fries were somewhat lacking, but when she mentioned it to our waitress, she promptly brought over some crispier ones. Despite a couple of minor hiccups, we had a pleasant experience at this charming little diner, and we would both highly recommend it.

Good Food, Not Necessarily Worth The Wait. I really like the menu at Blue Cow, there seems to be a little something for everyone. For brunch I order the Santa Fe Scramble which is basically breakfast nachos. You gotta love that! For lunch I have stuck to grilled cheese and fries. Also, they have RC Cola and 7-Up for fountain sodas. Yum! The place is a little cramped, but the environment is fun and the staff is nice. Look out on weekend mornings though, the place is packed! It's hard to get a table, there's no space to wait, and the service isn't quick. The last time I went there it was just too busy and I hopped over to the Morrison Inn for a nice meal.

"I wasn't so pleasantly surprised by a restaurant in a while! I was in the area to help a friend and we all decided to go for dinner later. I found this place on a Google search and it was only 8 minutes away, so we all agreed to give him a shot. On arrival it seemed, as I expected, that it... a modest mountain location, nothing flashy or especially eye on the outside. I thought that was just a nice little standard restaurant embedded in the hills. When I entered, I was amazed how luxurious and uplifted this place was. When we sat, our whole group said, ok wow this place is actually very nice. The staff was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable when it comes to the menu and the specials for the day. The service was some of the best I recently experienced. The menu was not necessarily cheap, but everything was carefully thought out and reminded me of a 5-star dining experience that could be found in very high areas. We had several appetizers that were so delicious that I would have made them my whole meal. My personal favorite was the Flatbread with Pesto... Goodbye. Most of us ended up with chosing fish dishes or pasta and any dish that came like an absolute work of art and left me to feel like I wasn't in a small mountain town... but rather a luxurious and upscale almost vegas-style resort. Icing on the cake (literal) was the INCREDIBLE lemon cake we got for the desert. I turned to my friend and said I think this is the best lemon cake I've ever had in my life, just followed by her father who said the same, a few moments later. I'm still on this cake during the day. The overall service and experience in this place was so about what we originally expected, and I count the days until I can return and try the rest of the menu... absolutely perfect dinner."
