I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a very enjoyable meal. The service was quick and friendly. The fried shrimp was outstanding and the ribeye was cooked perfectly, not overly seasoned. The setting of the restaurant was beautiful and it was definitely worth the drive. The prices were reasonable too.

This place doesn't pop up like it should in google searches when looking for places to eat dinner...and it definitely should! The staff was very nice to a out of towner asking too many questions about the food they have. The suggestions they recommended in the end were perfect! The are not lying when they say the ribs are full off the bone good. And the prime rib, finished on the grill was amazing! First time I had hush puppies in a ring but it definitely help to cook them evenly. I'll definitely swing back in next time I'm in town.

This restaurant and accommodations are fantastic. On October 24, 2020, we held our wedding reception at The Depot at Cody Creek and everything was wonderful. Kathy and Freddy were so accommodating, giving us full access to many options for the ceremony and the reception. We used the rustic and beautiful chapel on the property, which had artificial arrangements and candle holders that added a romantic touch. The reception took place in the large banquet hall, where Freddy and Kathy had set up fire pits outside as we requested, making the whole place look perfect. Kathy and Freddy were extremely accommodating, giving us full access to different options for both the ceremony and reception. The chapel we used for the ceremony was rustic and beautiful, with a wide variety of artificial arrangements and candle holders provided by Kathy and Freddy, creating a romantic atmosphere. The banquet hall for the reception was set up perfectly, with fire pits lit up outside as requested.
