There's definitely enough on the menu for everyone to enjoy. Usually I find it very hard to find something I want but at The Duck there were many choices I could've chosen from.

Duck Poutine is fabulous and the menu always has something interesting and tasty to spark my interest. We love sitting in the club chairs at the bar. Nice cozy atmosphere with good energy. Parking: There is a lot behind the building and additional parking off a nearby sidestreet that has stairs to main parking area.

Never had a bad dish from The Duck! The shrimp and grits is out of this world, the clam chowder is slightly smokey and my favorite in the area, wings are large and delicious, drinks are top notch, and we tried the gorgonzola bread for the first time and highly recommend. Been coming here for years, and simply put ... it used to be better. Still a great rustic vibe as a renovated barn. Attitude of the servers can be hit or miss. Pricing is on the high side for what you get. Got the veal parm, and the presentation was just so incredibly lazy; meat placed on sauced pasta with zero parsley/garnish. Looked like something you'd get at a truck stop diner. At $27 for that dish, I expect better.

The Duck came recommended from the hotel we were staying at for the Brimfield Antique show. Since we were traveling and didn’t have room for “doggie bags” (dang it! My favorite feature of dining out), my sister and I opted to split a meal. We started with the Gorgonzola bread. Delicious. The Gorgonzola was creamy and delicious and who doesn’t like fresh bread? Our entree was the pappardelle Bolognese. Honestly the best Bolognese I’ve ever had. It killed me to leave behind the unfinished food, we were stuffed! The wine was a little pricey (IMO) at $12 per glass but it was a really nice wine! I usually opt for the “house wine” option but the only wines they serve were on the wine list.

My friend and I decided to stop at The Duck since we were at the flea market all day and needed a drink. We arrived at 4:00 ish and the bar was very inviting when you first walk in. We decided to sit there since it was pretty empty. Great decision because we had stellar service from John Stacey and Colby. Two great guys who epitomize hospitality service! Professional, friendly, and entertaining! The food (fried artichoke hearts, meatballs, burger) was outstanding, but it was the service that stood out! By the time we left (after 6) the bar was full. It’s popular for a reason. We will definitely make the long drive just to meet up there again. Also, a shout out to Elijah who was also engaging... Visualizza piatti
