"I visited the restaurant this week and decided to order the sushi lunch special, which I usually do when I visit. The lunch special includes two or three sushi rolls with the choice of soup or salad. I ordered two rolls - the Philadelphia roll and the spicy tuna roll - both of which tasted good. However, after eating the salad, I discovered a rotten tomato which made me feel sick. Half an hour later, I started sweating, feeling nauseous, and experiencing vertigo. I felt increasingly worse until I eventually vomited. I strongly believe I got food poisoning from the food I ate at the restaurant. I have never had any issues with this place before, but after this incident, I will not be returning."

"Kumo is one of the top two sushi spots I have had the pleasure to discover. I am STILL raving about it after visiting over the 2024 New Year weekend. The sashimi is so fresh!! The presentation is creatively and beautifully executed. The staff had mastered the art of being there every time you need them, but not so much as to interfere in the experience. I was so impressed with the tuna, escolar, live scallops, and seared salmon belly (fatty salmon). We also got a spicy crunchy garlic roll that was the best sushi I've ever had!! The price was perfect for what we desired to eat that night, and you could very comfortably afford any experience you are looking to have. It WAS crowded, but once we were promptly seated and presented with our first course, I understood why....fresh, delicious, affordable cuisine and a great atmosphere!!! You MUST visit this hidden gem. You'll thank us and yourself!!!!"

"This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. I ordered the gyro platter, which came without any veggies, soup, and fries. I immediately reached out to express my concern since it was a carryout order. The meat was so dry that it was difficult to eat, and the sweet tea lemonade was unpleasant. The fries were flimsy and excessively greasy. Although they did provide a complimentary order of french fries that were slightly better, it didn’t make up for the overall experience. I asked for extra sauce for the gyro meat, and they wanted to charge me for it. When a customer is dissatisfied, it's important to accommodate them as part of good customer service. The sauce only costs 50 cents, so offering two would have shown good faith and could have helped to improve my experience. Simple gestures like that can go a long way in satisfying customers. "After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"When I called to discuss the issue, the person who took my order accused me of not being truthful. I can understand that they deal with many customers, but being called a liar was infuriating. I wanted to go back for a full refund, but I held back since my kids were home from college, and I didn’t want to spoil our anniversary lunch. To add to the disappointment, the food wasn't even that great. The Butter Chicken was just okay, but the Tikka Masala was absolutely awful—more buttery than the Butter Chicken, can you believe it? We paid extra for food that was subpar. I asked for a manager to call me, but no one reached out, and my email went unanswered. The combination of bad food and terrible customer service has left me frustrated. I won't be ordering from this restaurant again."
