"As for the service, it was exceptional. The staff was friendly, patient, and very helpful. As an introvert, I was initially hesitant when I walked in and found there was no clear counter or menu displayed. I wasn’t sure if I would even stay to place an order, but they encouraged me to take my time with the menu and patiently answered all my questions. Now onto the food: I thoroughly enjoyed the waffle combo with fruit and turkey sausage. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, especially as I had ordered it to go. I also tried the Chai Latte; while I'm sure it was prepared authentically, I’m accustomed to the offerings from major chains, so it took me a moment to adjust. Once I got used to the flavor, it turned out to be quite enjoyable."

"Some of these low reviews crack me up lol but maybe they improved because I had a GREAT experience. I am so glad I went. My cousin from Canada will call me up when she is in LA and we get to experience a local (black owned soul food if we can) cuisine together. This time it was flavor table and the food was solid! We were attended to right away and when seated our waiter Willie had all the energy and got our drinks right away. We ordered our food and it didn't take too long but everything was piping hot, I love this. I would prefer fresh hot food vs warm food because I'll just send it back to get heated up. I ordered the wings combo and the peace cobbler French toast. Fire! The wing (asked for them to be fried hard) came out perfect and delicious. Wings were juicy. The peach cobbler sauce was perfect not too sweet and just right to pour over the French toast. I love that it comes in a bowl so I am in control of how I want to dress up my French toast. This is a solid establishment and all the waiters paid attention but wasn't in my face every second which was great. Oh yeah they forgot our waters and Willie was occupied so the gentleman that seated us was right there so I asked him for our water and he was super apologetic and got us 3 waters right away. "From the start, it was clear that he lacked accountability and any sense of customer service. When I checked my receipt, I noticed that my total was different from my co-workers'. After asking about the discrepancy, he informed me that his system applies a certain percentage for pricing, which made it seem like he was overcharging us. As I pressed for clarity, he became agitated and began to yell at us, claiming he had given us the wrong menus. He explained that the prices on the to-go menus hadn’t been updated in six months. I felt thoroughly disrespected and uncomfortable due to an error that was clearly his responsibility. He snatched the menus from us and shouted, frustrated that we asked for the correct change based on the prices we were initially shown. I understand that everyone has off days, but raising your voice in your own establishment over a pricing issue of your own making is simply unprofessional and disrespectful. Because of this experience and the lack of accountability on his part, I will never return to this restaurant; I also cannot recommend it to my colleagues or anyone else. The owner needs to seriously work on their customer service and respect for clients. It's worth noting that we did accept the food after all of this, but in hindsight, I should have returned it and left right after that initial encounter."

"Lately ordered was hard to work on a project path after 2 AM and realized dinner! We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the cake, especially with so many places closed for the night. We could even say that from the smell alone before I even checked my phone for the notification! The Pankruste pizza was hearty, the dough was delicious and cooked all the way, but not overtake, and well balanced with generous amounts of cheese and toppings. The cheese was NOT fat, which is an important indicator of quality, and the peppers, sausage and beef were all fresh as well as the vegetables olives, green pepper and mushrooms and onion. Obviously I had not eaten all day and was quite hungry, but the cake was excellent and open much better than expected. Will order again from them, but hopefully not so late at night!"

"Everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious! My favorite item was the drink—I'm absolutely obsessed with the Taro Coconut Smoothie. It's refreshing and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, which is just what I like. The boba is soft and chewy, adding to the delightful experience. I enjoyed every aspect of it!"
