"I recently visited this amazing restaurant, and it certainly lives up to its reputation! It's truly a gem. Everything was perfect, from the cocktails to the food. Our party tried two of the specials and two items from the menu, and they were all fantastic! We started with the wings, which were incredible, and the variety of sauces was impressive. Several in our group ordered the brisket and combo platters, while I had the shrimp, which was absolutely delicious and a generous portion—I took the leftovers home and enjoyed them over pasta with the sauce the next night! Our server, whom I think was named Kate, was lovely as well; she provided great recommendations for both food and drinks, really enhancing our evening. I will definitely be returning!"

what a nice fund for us natives who like to get in the bolton Landing/Lake opposite after the busy tourist season. we loved the smoked wings, brisket and chicken sandwich. the happy hour cocktails were very nice. service was friendly and efficient. we will definitely come back.

Arrived early for our reservation and enjoyed a wonderful cocktail on the porch. Was seated promptly and greeted by friendly and knowledgable waitstaff. Party of 4 ordered different items and everything was delicious! Didn't have room for dessert, maybe next time. Can't wait to return!

The Gem is just that….a perfect little gem on the banks of Lake George in beautiful Bolton Landing. This place is awesome- the food, the drink, the hospitality, the music, the vibe — it’s so perfectly retro groovy and cool. The menu is deceitfully delicious in its utter comfort simplicity. Everything we had was mouth watering or meltingly magnificent. The staff rocks and the service is sensational. If you’re going anywhere near Lake George make every effort to get to the Gem!!! I had the shrimp, which was so delicious and plentiful that I took some home and reheat it in its sauce over pasta the next night! Our server was lovely and offered great suggestions for food and drinks. The schnapps we tried added to an already perfect evening. We’ll definitely be back!
