The Hilltop - Piatti

Stopped in for a cocktail and some apps. Had a perfectly made Whiskey old fashioned sour with olives. Had to order apps to go, no food at the bar except a delicious cheese ball. Look forward to trying dinner soon.

Great old style Wisconsin supper club. Their menu varries daily. We love the fish fry and the broasted chicken. The bar is great, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's also a very nice country drive from Madison. Definitely worth checking out.

I came here a few weeks ago with friends and it wasn't disappointed! The waitresses were on the spot and one of the bus boys was on his game. He made sure we had water there all the time. We had the perch with the rice pilaf. Really amazing and would definitely come back! Visualizza piatti

Always fantastic! If you're looking for consistently excellent food, Hilltop is the spot for you. The filet and shrimp were cooked to perfection! The steak portions were generous, and the seasoning on the large shrimp was just right. Plus, I enjoyed an old fashioned that only a supper club can make!

I can't praise The Hilltop enough! Every time we've visited, the food has been exceptional! We even held our holiday work event there this year. Despite being quite busy that night, the service was still flawless! The staff was very organized, the food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and everyone was friendly! I highly recommend it!

Went with 9 other friends for our monthly supper club/fish fry night and it was incredible. Great drinks, fish fry and you definitely have to save room for the ice cream cocktails to end the night on. Randall, our server, was also sensational and the bartenders, while we waited for our table, were attentive and fast, especially with how busy it was on a Friday night. Will definitely return! It's great to see an old-school breaker club back in action! The food was outstanding, the drinks were strong, and the atmosphere was as welcoming as the bartenders and waitstaff. This place really brings back memories of how Essen Clubs used to be. I recommend arriving early, making a reservation, and enjoying the cheese ball and crackers at the bar before your meal. Be sure to order an old fashioned brand sour with a slice of lime. And if you can, save some room for dessert—those ice drinks are simply delicious! The secret is out: this place is a gem!

I went to the restaurant with some friends, and when we first sat down, they served us warm rolls with honey butter, which were delightful. For our main course, we all ordered different items: I had the Fritten, one friend got the Au-Gratin potatoes, and another opted for a baked potato. We all really enjoyed our meals. The portions were generous, so we decided to share a carrot cake for dessert. It was just average; I've definitely had better. However, the Old Fashioned drink was delicious, and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning!

While I can appreciate a dimly lit dining atmosphere, when it’s too dark to read the menu, it's also too dark to see what's on your plate! Unfortunately, that was our experience last night with our group of six. Three of us ordered the prime rib, and it turned out to be the most gristly cut I have ever encountered. To make matters worse, the dull, outdated steak knives made the situation even more disappointing. One member of our party ordered the baked salmon, but due to the low light, he eventually discovered that the reason his salmon was lukewarm was that it was actually raw and cold in the center.
