Stopped here on our way home from Santa Fe. Trust the good reviews, not the exterior of the building. This was the BEST food we ate all week and damn good bbq. Probably the best brisket we have ever had. Great service. Stop here and eat!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I love this place only problem is that some people can be rude at times. Vegetarian options: They do but who comes to an BBQ place for vegetarian Dietary restrictions: Yes they caterer to anyone's needs just don't be a Karen about it. Parking: Ummmm......it's bigggg.... What a treat and a gem of a place. Stopped for lunch on a Saturday around noon. Fairly well rounded menu as expected front a BBQ place. I had the Brisket plate. A generous serving and the meat was awesome. Half dozen choices for sauce that are house made. Service was excellent, staff friendly. Historic building put back in to service was decorated nicely. If you like BBQ I recommend a stop. It also appears they have adult beverages as well. A somewhat stoic Elvis is there to greet you.

We were in Raton for the 4-H State shooting competition and called the Icehouse a day in advance to see if they could take a reservation for 30+ people. We were told they do not take reservations but if we would sit outside they would accommodate us. So we arrived the following night at 6 pm to find the patio ready for us with two guys on guitars there to play for our party. they definitely went above and beyond to make the night a memorable one for our archery kids and their families. Thank you!

My family of 4 (2 teenagers) stopped here on our travels to Texas. This was a great place we had a mixture of dishes from the combo for 1 with sliced brisket, pulled pork, and ribs) to the fried chicken and a burger. All of the mains were very good and the bbq was definitely well cooked by a pot master. The only issue with the food was the temp of the sides they weren't cold but more lukewarm. Lukewarm Mac and cheese is not my favorite nor my kids but the main dishes made up for it. The other nice thing is they gave my pup a bone to chew on and see absolutely loved it. If you're in Raton or driving through this is an excellent spot to stop and it is a cool building and if it's warm the view... Visualizza piatti
