"The Pad is known for its burgers and for good reason. The burgers are big and beefy (1/2 pound) with a soft, fresh baked, bun. My burger was a bit over done, however. They don 't ask how you want it cooked, but next time I 'll be sure to ask for medium rare anyway, to avoid another medium well one. It 's a homemade tasting burger without a hard sear or much seasoning. So, bear that in mind. It did come with nice crispy fries. The appetizer basket of onion rings was big and they tasted great. The cheese curds were also excellent and the portion again was good. The curds stayed hot and melted in your mouth until they were gone. That didn 't take too long since we weren 't playing. Anyway, get the ranch dipping sauce because it was thick and flavorful. It was Friday so, jeepers, I was eyeing up what looked like a big walleye filet going by. That had me twitching like I was still in the boat. That 's right, I got my eye on you, Wally! Next time, you 'll be in MY belly... Come get some."

This was such a cool little place !!! Loved the clip on trays for the bar eating area. EXCELLENT food and service.

The employees are amazing, the food is delicious, the people are friendly, and they also serve Wild Turkey American Honey chilled on ice! Chad, you should consider buying this restaurant.

I had the hand breaded walleye. Large fillets w/choice of Fries , hash browns or potato salad. Rye bread and coleslaw. They try to go a notch above the traditional bar food. Very courteous employees. Visualizza piatti

We had lunch today at The Pad . I had the Classic Burger it was excellent! I have been flying here for over 50 years. In the last year I have been disappointed with the food. Today it was excellent! I will be back!

New owners in April. Apparently they are changing the menu and are improving the quality of the food. We ordered cheeseburgers for lunch. They were fantastic! Hand prepared so not perfect round discs. Thick and flavorful and prepared perfectly, just as we ordered. They had lots of toppings including mushrooms, grilled or raw onions, bacon, tomato, fresh crisp lettuce and 6 kinds of real cheese!!! Not American slices of plastic. Service was excellent, the bar appeared to be well stocked. I look forward to going back again....soon!
