My breakfast was good. Def better than several other national parks. Always seems the food is not the greatest but it was pretty good here. I enjoyed my cup of joe as well. Not too strong nor too weak, just right. Their dining area is nice surrounded by trees and a lot of sunlight enters their windows. The service was good. I placed my order and was waiting in the dining area. One of the cleaning staff came over and advised me he would check on my food. I hadn't been waiting a long time either. Thank you

We visited this restaurant because we were staying at the Wuksachi lodge. Right from check in the front the desk gentleman (awesome) told us we should make reservations. The food was amazing! Menu was small (which I saw from other reviews). We enjoyed the ribeye and the special for tonight chicken Parmesan. We sat at the bar and Zach was our bartender. He was top notch! Great banter and he makes a mean cocktail! Overall great experience! Awesome staff! The hostess was very warm and welcoming to all guests!

We dinner and the breakfast buffet. Typical breakfast buffet for 24 bucks eggs, sausage, fruit, oatmeal, waffles, juice, regular coffee, cheap pastries etc. Dinner not too much to select from on the menu very limited. Did the steak and a salad with strawberries and blueberries. Order came with pea soup not bad. Steak and salad was a great size to share between 2 people and surprisingly good for being a place In middle of a forest. We decided to try the baked acorn squash, which was one of the vegetarian options available. Other choices included the soup of the day, two salads, a personal pizza where you select your toppings, and a vegan hummus wrap. The baked acorn squash was absolutely delicious! It was stuffed with a flavorful quinoa and goat cheese filling. The roasted carrots and broccolini that accompanied it were also perfectly cooked and tasty. You have the option to choose either a soup or a house green salad with your main dish, and we opted for the salad. While it was decent, we weren't particularly fond of the dressing. You can easily snag a drink at the bar while you wait, but there is limited indoor seating while you wait (this is a smaller lodge). This is not fine dining, but the food was genuinely good, if not complicated/fancy! Our filet was cooked perfectly to medium rare and was a quality cut of meat. The summer salad was huge and had very fresh fruit in it easily could be a light meal on its own. I liked it so much I ordered it twice. As the only restaurant in the area, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the food and the service here. We dined here for the past two nights, and I enjoyed both the Duck and the Ribeye, which were both delicious! The Burger, Chicken Wings, and Trout Almondine were also quite good. We finished our meals with a delightful scoop of ice cream. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the logistical challenges of sourcing their ingredients. Our servers, Rebecca and Leslie, were exceptional, and the Manager was very gracious, even when a small mistake occurred.
