"We picked this place because we were staying in the hotel. It ended up being one of the best meals I ever had in NOLA. Everything, the food, their service, the atmosphere, was perfect. I have been living in the South for over 30 years and have eaten A LOT of shrimp and grits, but theirs was the best I ever had. The grilled asparagus was to die for. And I am very persnickety about my bourbon, but this was the best Old Fashioned I have had in years. I never have two cocktails with dinner, but I made an exception, and it wasn't just because I didn't have to drive. Our table was in the window, and we got to watch New Orleans go by."

Brandon, our server was wonderful and very attentive. The french onion soup was absolutely delicious and the prime rib debris po-boy was delicious and quite large.

For the most part the food was passable but not great, but my wife's entree was so ridiculously salty even the manager admitted it was inedible. For $50 you got a three-course snack. I won't be back.

The food was actually delicious. However, three about four dishes at our table were cold when they were delivered. One person did not even want to send it back. Two of us should send them back to get them heated up when someone came to check. Believe it or not food is much much better when it is warm to hot.

The Rib Room is not usually known as a breakfast spot but it should be. Affordable pleasant right on Royal Street we got a table facing the street for interesting people watching. Great and varied menu; a full pot of coffee was kept on the table. I tried the Bananas Foster stuffed french toast with bacon on the side and it was simply yummy.
