"We have been customers since Smoke Sessions was in their food truck. We loved going! Unfortunately things have gone downhill with time. The line moves very slowly and could definitely use more people cutting meat and serving sides. The meat at the front is almost never hot, but closer to lukewarm. The servers insist we order anything fried fries, okra, kids chicken strips) at the register, so by the time they are able to -start- cooking those items, the rest of the food has already been served, and by the time it actually gets to our table, the rest of the food is cold. It would definitely help if all fried food could be ordered first thing, and be started immediately, so that it is ready closer to when we eat the rest of the food. Prices have also gone way up. I wouldn't mind paying the higher prices if everything else was spectacular, but it's getting to the point that it's not worth coming to pay high prices with all the other issues. : It's a shame because we especially LOVE the Mac and cheese, and the fact that our kids have space to run around outside while we enjoy the atmosphere. We truly want this place to succeed and hope they can tighten some of these issues up."

"So pleased with my order! I placed an order for a small strawberry cake for my husband’s birthday requested just a simple hunting-related design.My cake was ready for pick-up at the exact time the bakery said it would be. Everyone working was very kind from start to finish.The cake was the star of the show. It was decorated very creatively- with clear attention to detail, even for a “keep it simple” request. Everyone loved the cake! My husband shared that he thinks that it’s the best cake he’s ever had. Definitely a winner here!"

"Food was mediocre. Waitress was absent. Drinks were heavy on cost low on quality. The menu has names for food items but no descriptions. How is someone supposed to know what The Farmer is? I ordered a Jalapeño Margherita that consisted almost entirely of cheap mixer with a dash of well tequila and a couple flecks of muddled Jalapeño at the bottom. It tasted like someone poured a glass full of triple sec, then walked it past the bottle of tequila while gently whispering Jalapeño into the glass. Absolutely not with the $10.00 charge. When I ordered a burger, they asked how I 'd like it cooked. I asked for medium, and apparently, the cook read that as cook it until there 's nothing left but dry leather and sadness. We saw they had a desert display on our way in, and I was looking forward to a piece of pecan pie. When our waitress eventually returned towards the end of the meal, I ordered a slice of the pie, and my wife ordered some ice cream. 45 minutes later, we literally had to walk into the kitchen to find someone to ask about our food. We were 1 of only 3 groups dining in the restaurant! They weren 't understaffed or busy! They also charged an auto-gratuity, which I understand for large groups (we had 7 people), but it is STATE LAW that the auto-gratuity MUST BE DISCLOSED We were never told about it, and it was not on any menus or posted anywhere in the business."

"I went in for my first time and grabbed my pizza and took it home. I should've checked my pizza before I left but I didn't. I went home and it was cold. I went back up there and I was frustrated from a rough day and cold pizza was the just the last straw for my wife's birthday food. (That's what she wanted) I went there mad and left with a smile on my face and feeling crapy about myself. The gentleman there totally killed me with kindness and made things right. The pizza was delicious and his service and understanding was just outstanding. They have a customer for life"
