"Disappointing experience for our reservation of four. A beautiful resort and the restaurant is very nicely decorated. Has a grand feel to it. The patio is nice but not like the inside of the restaurant. Out of 15 tables on the patio, one table was occupied. They sat us right next to the occupied table of four and a baby. Baby was adorable. Not a biggie, but certainly not smart. A little smaller than a baseball size burrata came served with two small triangles of bread for a table of 4? Again, not the end of the world, but certainly not thoughtful. Run of the mill forgotten beverages, slow service, etc. The waiter was a nice young guy, doing the best he could but had not been trained properly. Again, not a huge deal. Food seemed of decent quality, portions were OK on some dishes and ridiculously small on others. Some of the flavors, sauces were odd. If I were eating at a $15-$20 plate restaurant I just chalk it up to that kind of experience. But at $100 a head we expect and deserve more. This is not a one off experience, this is the fourth or fifth time I’ve eaten at this restaurant, and it’s been the same type of thing each time. It’s a bummer, because it looks and has the feel of a very special place."

Went for 1st time brunch, Smash burger was great, pork dish odd texture w/ little flavor, brisket dish dry, seafood Benedict so salty had to send it back. Drinks were good. Beautiful place but disappointed in the food.

Definitely hard to get to, but worth the effort. Very nice, relaxed Hillcountry setting. Food was nicely prepared, although my pasta dish could have been warmer when served. Halibut was excellent. This is a beautiful gem hidden in Dripping Springs. We tried Sunday Brunch, menu was limited but food was good. The bar menu was amazing I recommend you try the Bourbonista. Kylie was excellent and very attentive. She was not originally our server, next time we’ll ask for her table. Nice job Tillies team.

we had a great experience at dinner last night. the brussel sprouts and burrata cheese appetizers were very tasteful and delicious. we share the gigantic tomahawk steak for dinner and wow, it was excellent! perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. we have eaten many steaks throughout the country and that was definitiw top 5. we ended up with the toffee pudding, which is actually more like a cake, and yum!
