"Went Tuesday afternoon and was the only one there and ordered the burrito with beef and added chicken. It was good however the portion size was ridiculous. It was extra heavy with the rice, super light on the beef and light on the chicken. For a $11 burrito I would say hard pass as it a bad value, disappointing. The red and green sauces were tasty. Unfortunately the service was not very welcoming, felt like I was bugging them. I will be back to try the tamales because I hear and see good things."

Fantastic...I could eat this everyday. Great tamales and I think the Tommy bowl may be the perfect food. Great item to take a few home and freeze for another day. Holds well and reheats perfectly

I've had a disappointing experience with the tamales on my second visit. They were not good, and I even found them cold in the middle. I'm starting to wonder if there's been a change in management since my first visit, where the person taking my order was quite rude. I won't be wasting my money here again.

The owner is incredibly warm and makes an effort to greet and engage with every guest who walks in. The staff is also very friendly. The food is truly comforting, delicious, and fresh! We ordered the small tamale bowl with beef chili and added a side of sour cream. It was a burst of flavors in every bite. We'll definitely be coming back!

The young hostess told us that there were no reservations for us under my name… Honestly, I think what happened was our reservation was inadvertently given to someone else. "My husband and I went here on a Saturday night. We had reservations, which I would suggest for a weekend night. We were seated in the “patio area” which, at first glance, we thought might be too chilly on a cold evening, but it was very cozy warm. We were attended to right away by someone who took our drink order, and soon after we were able to order. I got my usual grilled fish sandwich. My husband had a chicken fried chicken. The breading on it was a little too peppery for his taste, but overall, he liked it. Oh, and I got the nice little dinner salad, which is so good! I would recommend that, definitely. We decided to split dessert and opted for banana pudding. It had a rich caramel topping, and was decadent. We ate it all. We will definitely be back. Service was great. Managers stopped by a couple of times, and even other servers checked on us."
