Top Of The Marq - Piatti

Top of the Marq is a fantastic new discovery for me! Balcony or inside dining, tapas type dining experience, excellent service, and very affordable prices! I will return and bring friends!

Top of the Marq had a nice atmosphere. I chose a seat right at the bar but somehow it took the cocktail artist a good 5—7 minutes to acknowledge me. I pulled the menu from a couple who had just left. I was about to leave when I was finally acknowledged and asked if I’d like to order. I reluctantly stayed and ordered. The drink and appetizer was good.

Cool location, food was lacking. I got that blackened shrimp tapa, there wasn’t much flavor and the shrimp were dry. For my main I got the filet medallions. There were drenched in sauce and ok at best. Cocktails looked nice but I had a civil life brown, can’t mess that up. They also grabbed a card from me when I ordered my drink and before I ordered my meal like I was going to run down the elevator, off putting. Visualizza piatti

Good job on having my last review removed. I also know you asked employees to write positive reviews in response to mine. I simply stated how you were handling covid in the early stages and you lied multiple times. You exposed countless people to covid for your own personal gain. From bartenders who were positive to the own refusing testing, it was careless. Today I heard you lost your case in court. You lied and lost, congratulations!

I have great experiences every time I visit Top of the Marq. The cocktails are unique and tasty. The menu rotates seasonally so the food is always fresh. In the many times I’ve visited Top of the Marq, I’ve always been pleased with the food and drinks. One of my favorite parts of the roof top bar is the view of downtown Cape. The aesthetics of the entire building is immaculate. Edit: The truffle fries are hands down some of the best French fries ever. You must try them!

Came for my Birthday, got there 815pm and was rushed into ordering drinks before 9. They swept around us, turned off music, put on lights and the over all feel was “get out, its 9pm”. We were not even offered to order desert. I asked the Manager El why she turned off the the music she said protocal and said the owner said she has to have all employees leave by 930. 6/11/22 7p.m. I've been to this establishment 3 times b4, but tonight was very disappointing. I had family from out of town and wanted to show them a nice time. Didn't get a chance. HOSTESS at the door asked how many, then we chose outside seating. She told us to seating ourselves, which isn't normal. We found ourselves a seat and waited 25 minutes and NOONE came to serve us. Atmosphere was great, drinks strong and creative, bartenders friendly, great view, etc. Great place to visit in Cape! Unfortunately we decided to leave earlier than we would have liked, because as we were sitting on the patio, someone decided to turn the music up outside. Since it opened a couple years ago we have frequented Top of the Marq at least once a month, usually twice. I'm not sure why I haven't left a review before now! We have never once been less than impressed, they have most delicious food and drinks, amazing staff, and a beautiful view around.
